Hey, I was wanting to just switch to another household to play with for awhile and when I selected them and clicked the check mark to start playing with them; The game crashes to the desktop screen!!!
I havent had any problems like this before OTHER than when I have Rick & Delphy's CAS slider hack. In which case it crashes at the load up screen ever since I got the Sims 3 patch (i tried installing the patch version as well but that doesnt work for me either). But after deleting that I have had no other crashing problems until today when trying to switch my household!
So really if anyone has suggestions on how to fix my switching households problem OR even the Slider Hack problem...either would be nice! Both would be awesome! :D

I have a Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.
Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
I have 6 GB of RAM
A 1TB of hardrive which I've only used 80gb of.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 graphics card


Not sure what all I need to post up on here about my computer specs but its a pretty darn good computer lol!
Any help would be appreciated!!!

Does this still happen with no mods installed?
Did you save before switching?

Well I tried switching to another family and it let me! The only difference between the two families is that the one that crashes has the new hair from Peggyzone & the new hair from the SimsArtistsUnion. So Im guessing its because of that? If so, that really sucks. I like the both of them.
