So does anyone know of a way yet to control sims you want for a period of time..and then send them back home? lol Basically...I've created a sim I want my girl sim to meet...and they've met..but as we all know..it's pretty difficult to maintain a relationship with another sim because they wind up having to go home..or..get bored..or whatever the case may be.. There's plenty of mods which add sims to your active family and you can control them from there....which I have. But my question is...does anyone know of a way that after you've added them to your active family, is there a way to..subtract them from your active family so they go on living their former lives? lol The only way I knew how to do it is to make them move out..but that just puts them in the sim bin..I just want them to go back to their house :p |

Well If you have the awesomod then you can ctrl-click on the sim you want to control and select them. Although when you do this your switching to that sims household. So when you want to control your original sim you just Ctrl-click them to switch back to their household. I have not used the awesomod for a while, so the controls may have changed, but you can at least try this. |

Use Control+Shift+C and type in: testingcheatsenabled true Then shift-click the sim, and you can add (or remove) from the family. |

There's a way to get them to move out into a new house. On the move option on computer, at the bottom of the window that pops up is an option to "kick out". It moves them into an available house. |

you don't have to do half as what's being mentioned and you do NOT need any cheats just go to EDIT TOWN, select your household and use split house hold, select the sim you want to move out and move them into the right hand box and click the tick, this will be copied to the clipboard then just select them, click place and merge them back into their original house. I wish people were actually aware of what the game can do before turning to such things as unawsomemod and indie stone etc |

The only problem I've had with using the in-game mechanics is that I created a sim I wanted to add to my family as a young adult. When I added her, they see her as a non-family member. Will the awesome mod actually make her a sibling with the other children, i.e. a child of the parents? |

So from where can I download the awesomd? I don't know if soemthing like this...but is there a mod that can play with family relationships? Like for example my sim had a daughter and I want to remove all connections from her daughter so that she becomes a stranger to this sim? Thanks |

if want her as a child if the parents then you adopt her. if want as sibling of the parents then use that one. the command is the geneolgy command you have too enable both debug commands in the awesome config tool |
