Is anyone else expiriencing this..

My sims go to bed at normal time then suddenly get up when their energy is full (past 12am). They often just get up at 1am - 3am for no reason!

why wouldn't they get up when their energy is full?

If you don't want them roaming around in the middle of the night and depleting their energy again before work, you can always adjust how long they sleep for. Usually you can expand the sleep icon in the action queue until it has a clock icon next to it. That should have them sleep until 7:00AM no matter when their energy fills. Though who really wants to see their Sims sleep any longer than they have to? :P

kennyinbmore - I don't mind them getting up, just not at 1am lol. In the sims 2 they use to sleep until 6am no matter what so I kind of though it would be the same in TS3.

See the box at the top left corner when they're sleeping? there should be some lines on the far right of said box. Click those and drag them to adjust how long they sleep. If they have work in the morning, dragging it right will make them either wake up at 7 if their sleep bar is already full, or sleep past when they need to get up for work. Dragging it left makes them wake up on time for work, or when their energy bar is full.

Erm, that sounds complicated. Just give it a go.

That wasn't my experience in TS2. They woke up when their energy bar filled up

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I'm quite used to the whole household being awake at 3am because in TS2 it happened as well.
