Hello everyone. Having a hard time to get the lovely Velvet Velour approved, i also fiddled around on Ming Xiao and it's also almost done. Tell me your thoughts, if she looks right or what you would change, it's much appreciated and more effective as going through the long waiting time only to see a rejection. Here the pic: ![]() |

Definitely higher cheekbones. In the picture, she doesn't have blush, but your sim does. The eyecolor is great, but the shape of the eyes doesn't match the pic at all. Wider, More thin (Up/Down), Less curved on the ends of her eyes (closer to the nose). |

The eyes should be thinner. |

So here we go: Removed blush, made eyes smaller and added the curve, moved cheekbone halfway between eyes and nosetip. ![]() |

ok, make the eyes wider. Then make the eyes thinner. Example: That: ____________ ____________ Becomes: ________________ ________________ |

The cheeks need to be more curved. I posted a ic to show what I mean. |

Sadly, there is no functionality at present to make the eyes thinner and wider. Limitation of CAS and all. Which means that it would be difficult, if not impossible to get her eye shape perfectly spot on. I think the best you could do in the "thinner" department would be to tune the scale down slightly. The eye apex needs to be taken to the left. I can't tell right offhand which way your eye shape slider is tuned, but it needs to be alllll the way to the left to even have a chance. I also can't tell with the makeup on, but it seems that the eye socket height slider needs to be brought all the way to the left too. The nose is good, except that I think the definition needs to be brought down. Ming Xiao has no definable nose bridge to speak of and her nostril area is softer. Her entire face sculpt is something that's incredibly difficult to pull off in CAS, so I bow to you for even making the attempt, let alone something that's coming along well. |

I think you should also make her head a little wider... slightly though. |

you can, howver, change the eyelid heights, so they contribute to how thin/wide the eye is. |

Changing the eyelid heights in this scenario wouldn't do much, because it would change the shape. Ming Xiao has a delicate curve on her lower lid, and bringing it up any more would change the shape of it. If you bring her upper lid down any more, it would cover too much of the iris and would be a more obvious inaccuracy. Slipslop's got the right shape, but sadly there is little to be done to change the thinness of the eye without altering it. |

Thanks again for the detailed feedback, you are great guys! Indeed Ming Xiao is almost a mission impossible. For characters like this the CAS has too many limitation and the slider hack starts creating errors or weird shaped areas. @Lewjen i tried to make the face wider, but it makes her face alot rounder and she has this long straight shaped face, but i will fiddle around with this. @guth75 Making the chin curvy is my next mission impossible, when i try it her JAWbone goes up too much and destroys her shape. If you could post an example picture, would be great. So the eyes are HARD, i tried to get her small curvy shape. But keep the feedback coming if you have time, that helps me big time. PIC: ![]() |

wider nose, I think. and IDK if you can squint the eyes any more, but that would help, and more of an orange tone on the lipstick as well. |

The eyes need to be squintier. The bridge of the nose needs to be wider. The nostrils need to be wider. The nose needs less definition. The bottom lip needs to be wider and a bit thicker. I think the jawline should fall lower than that. The chin shouldn't be super long, but it should be pointier. You need some more plumpness in the cheeks. Why not try the pulled back bun? She doesn't have any bangs but the hair you're using does. I also think the eyes should be a bit more shallowly set, bring them forward a bit. The jaw needs to be wider. This is a great start, you're really good at making those characters!!! |

She should be more cheeky, her jaw and nose should be wider, and the eyes a bit more 'closed', i think. |

Ming Xiao is very difficult, her special shaped jaw makes the most trouble. I tried to lower the cheeks, which also lowers the jaw bone into the right shape, but with the hanging cheeks she looks like 80 yo woman unfortunately, but i quess this is one of the limitation of the sims 3 CAS i have to deal with. I worked a bit on her and this the current state, the special eyes are contact lenses made by 'EsmeraldaF', kudos! So my savegame exploded somehow, so i had to rebuild my studio :P Here you go: ![]() |

getting a lot closer, eyelid height should be lower, and slightly less definition on the nose. |

her lips need abit more curve at the ends, upwards. and the shape of the top lips is off, there needs to be a dip. take of the nasobo... whtvr thing so u dont see that crease and lower her brows abit her ears are abit more outward... just a little make her nose less defined as well. and mayb put her hair in a pulled back style like the picture |
