I really want to go to the sims 3 store because I really like a lot of the stuff they have there but I no longer have access to the code in the pocketbook (it was at my boyfriends house and he had a fire). Is there any way that I can somehow access this info in another way? |

For Sims 3 If your game was previously installed (if you still have the computer it was on) You can find your Serial codes in your computers registry. 1) Click on Start select run, and then type in regedit. 2) Double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE 3) Double click on Software 4) Double click on Electronic Arts 5) Double click Sims 6) Double Click Sims 3 7) Double click ergc There is your security code This is for Windows XP not sure of the path is different with Vista |

Wow, i didn't know that was even possible. While i haven't lost my prodect key this could really come in handy.. especially if i need it and don't have it on me. |

What a great thing to know! Thank you for sharing it. I wish I had known this sooner. I was installing my game on another computer when I realised I had left the serial code at uni. I had to use some random one that I found online. |
