I've been playing for a while, I think it's close to 12 sim weeks in one neighborhood. I recently just noticed that my neighborhood only has 6 houses occupied. In the start of my game, almost all of the houses were occupied. I went into my game options and story progression was checked. Why isn't my neighborhood moving in anyone? I have AM, does this maybe affect it?

Which AwesomeMod options do you have selected? Your choice of options can have a huge impact on what happens to people in your neighborhood.

I have the same problem not using any core mods at the moment. I did have ISM in before the patch.

When I put ISM in, I started a new game, now without I'm went back to my original game.

My sims are not getting married or have babies at all anymore (since patch 1.3). Yesterday I had a few homeless sims added to my game but else no one is moving into town either. I'm not sure about getting jobs though. I thought that they aren't getting jobs either, but I'm not so sure now.

It's like story progression doesn't work at all anymore.

Greetings

whoachica5, have you updated to the latest AwesomeMod? People report that the story mode is working better with the latest update. Note that you still need to choose the right options to have the story progression work as you want it to.

crinrict, you should start your own thread. This thread was started to discuss a problem with AwesomeMod. If you're not running AM, then you can't be having the same problem. Do you have story progression enabled?

Yes I have the current version of AM...(how could I ignore those annoying reminders!lol) I will go and see what kind options I have selected. I never changed anything when I installed AM I didn't select any options. So I guess if story progression doesn't work with AM unless you turn it on first then that would be my problem. It is on in my game options but not sure where to look to turn it on for AM. I guess I'm off to read the manual(I know, I should have done that in the first place, but I'm lazy)!

I have posted my problem in this thread before: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=361141. Didn't get an answer there.

Do you want me to open another one ?

Yes, Story Progression IS on.

Greetings

Which story progression do you want to run? Awesome or EA? I believe that if you have story progression enabled in-game, then the Awesome story progression is automatically used (with the latest AM). You have to turn the Awesome story progression off to use EA's story progression instead. The AM download page has a link to a configuration webpage which will help you to select the correct options.

In general, you'll probably get better answers for what happens with AwesomeMod at MoreAwesomeThanYou than here. Unfortunately, AM changes quickly and there isn't much documentation, so asking questions there may be the only way to determine what's happening. Just be sure to try to search for the answer, before you post.

crinrict, when you post an off-topic issue in someone else's thread, there's a good chance that people will ignore you, since they are focused on helping the original poster. It's not that they're trying to be rude, just that it's difficult to think about two different problems at the same time. Starting your own thread will ensure that people will be trying to help you with your problem.

Awesome mod killed my hood with no parthenogenesis. All I had left were 3 families of elders (besides my playable sims). I had to turn that off and put in ISM to correct the hood. It is now repopulated.

That being said, we are not support for AM. Please go to MATY for support of the hack.

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.
