I should say that it's one of the first times I try making objects - having succeded only once (but that's ages ago, and I didn't do any major changes to the mesh).

I've tried to follow the "start to finish object making tutorial", making a chair (instead of the table). But when I try to replace the old mesh with the new one, I get a weird error message when importing it

I click OK, but in the window that comes up, the text is colored red for some reason. Following the rest of the tutorial is impossible, since after I've done the steps for that window, I still can't click OK.

The mesh is as low poly as I've managed (it was on over 6000 before I took it down even more), but it's a complex mesh even so.
I cloned the wooden basegame dining chair.

Does anyone know any solutions?
Thanks for any help

I believe that error occurs when you don't have advanced mode selected. Go to the tools/preferences in SimPE and make sure the advanced mode is ticked, then restart simpe.
