*sigh* I know cheating is not good to do, but I need to know a cheat for TS3 regarding motives, kinda like the [max_motives] cheat for TS2. All I have found are cheats like: make motives [static/dynamic], and a cheat called "shazaam"; I tried using them with and without testing cheats enabled, and the game won't recognize these cheats! So then I typed in HELP in the cheat menu (ya know so I could see what the cheat was named had I been spelling it wrong) and this is all I got:

Am I doing something wrong (other than trying to cheat in TS3)?

Oh, YAY! It worked! Thank you...all of the 'cheat sites' I've found (by google) never mentioned that I had to click on the mailbox...LOL, it's actually Shift click on the mailbox, but I only remembered that from TS2

You can also turn on testingcheatsenabled and then just drag up the motives bars to max.

cheats:

motherlode ---- $50,000 simoleons added to family funds
kaching ---- $1,000 simoleons added to family funds

testingCheatsenabled true... then Shift + Click the mailbox and click Make All Happy, then Shift + Click mailbox again and click make needs static. No more worries about needs!

Hope i helped :D

You tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is 'never try'

You don't have to Make All Happy if you plan on using the Static needs because after you set to static needs, all the bars go up on their own. You can see it happen when you click on the thumbnail/icon of each of the sims you control.
