kittykat you would be loved the world over I'm sure if you came out with a pose box for TS3. The chaos mod didn't do what I thought it would, I mean nothing against the creator or the tool itself. i'm sure it is useful for some, but not for what I and I'm sure plenty of others want to do.
It can't be that hard. I'm sure lots of people are working on pose boxes right now. People created about a million poses for Sims 2, why can't they do it that quick for the Sims 3. I'm just waiting and checking on every month. I'm not a creater as much as a player.
This topic started more then a year ago...............and still no one have made a posebox for sims3?????
What about those peeps that said over a year ago that they were making one? What's happend with those? Are they finished yet or not?
If i could make it i would but i cant :P
Well, the steps to figuring one out would be easy if someone stepped up to the plate and confirmed that yes there is a way to get the Sims 3 body meshes into MilkShape or similar and edit them, use S3PE to get them into a box, and import them into the game. Wouldn't it entail the same process as TS2?

Quite possibly the owner of the largest TS2 downloads folder on this site. Last count: 75 GB
There's -just- been a new animation editor recently, and it's probably still getting the bugs worked out.
CMX's chaos painting is about as good as many of the pose boxes for TS2 - the ones that called existing animations from the base game and EPs. There's a helluva lot you can do with it, if you take the time to go through the animations available. New animations may still be a while yet - it took even longer to get them going for TS2, and it's not the same process at all, really (requiring all new tools and plugins, everything in a different format).
Honestly - there's no need to keep bumping this looking for one. Anyone who is capable of making new animations/existing animaton pose boxes will already be working on it, and will post it when they're able to. If you're really interested in it, learn to make 'em yourself.
I like the idea of learning how to make poses and pose boxes. I've looked through the website's tutorial section, but I don't know where a pose tutorial would be.
Anyone know where to find one?
Sorry, I'm a bit of an idiot. XD
