You need to play an elder more than once to get the experience and know how they play, oh devilish one. Someday your favorite adult will age to elder, and then you'll see.

If you have Freetime, you can have someone in the family study Parenting, which allows you to check on the baby and detect which motive is lowest. Unfortunately, it's usually bladder and you can't do anything about it.

There's a mod to speed up the YA walk. I don't use it because, in all seriousness, I can't detect this slowness that bothers the life out of everybody else.

As I believe I've said upthread, I like all the lifestages. The things that bug other people I either don't notice, regard as a normal game challenge that it's on me to master, or actively like.

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)

I understand what they are getting that, in that the YA walk is more slothier...but they're college kids. They're teenagers trying to be adults, while juggling final exams and schoolwork. Give them a break.

Simblr.
I'm also on GoS. I go on here for the community, not really for the downloading. Just being honest.

I detest caring for toddler and babies m. I actually gauge my affection for my older sims with how annoying they are around children. I like teens before I get to the stage where i want them to grow up and have their own annoying children. I kind of like elders to be honest their helpful around the house and theirs no chance I'll forget how much babies irritate me and get them pregnant, I've also had them around for a while or created them with a story in mind so I'm generally attached. College annoys me but the opportunities it presents are fun. I like adults too and children.

I honestly like all the life stages. They all bring something new to play with which is why it's fun
Least Favorite to Favorite:
-Baby: Sure they're cute and so easy to take care of. But there are few interactions which in my case, are boring. And plus, children can't even hold them! I always used to hold my baby cousins when I was little. But whatever, they're cute and easy to build relationships.
-Elder: In real life I think old people are in a way, "cute" The male elders are fine. But the female's hips... Oh God, don't get me started there. Your sexiest adult female Sim just turned into some thing you want to kill off. Lol xD But I do love them interacting with grand children!
-Child: My children sims always make best friends with their future spouse at this age. And it's so cute! I use this life stage to build relationships with their future spouse and build skills.
-Adult: No complains. They can do everything :P
-Toddler: I like teaching them and giving them attention. They're adorable. And who doesn't love that huggle?!
-Teen: They get almost all the same interactions as adults except marriage, engagement, WooHoo, and pregnancy. They're so fun! And, they have less responsibilities and don't need to hire a nanny when mom and dad go out.

Hi there! I'm Becky :)
I am currently working on a new Sims 2 series called Dreams.

Favorite to least

1. Adult
2. Teen
3. Child
4. Elder
5. Toddler/baby (tie)

I don't have any EPs. Baby's literally can't do anything and toddlers barely anything and they are too much. I just use hacks to age babies instantly to toddler then age them instantly to child. Elders I don't like because the stage lasts WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too long and the waddlig, having to use the bathroom all the time and waking up in the middle of the night (unless you get the hack) is also a pain.

I don't like babies, I can't see if they're hungry or tired and parents must know what to do because I don't have any clew to know what they want
And I prefer adults : no homeworks, job and promotions, kids, beautiful body (unlike elters and some toddlers because you can't choose hairs and my baby boys are all the same hairs : uggly one.

Least Favorite: Babies
These things are annoying. You can't really interact with them that much and all they do is just eat, excrete and sleep.

Favorite: Tie Between Teen and Adult
The teens I like because they seem to have the most personality out of all the age groups as demonstrated by their mannerisms in Create-A-Sim and their cool clothing for both genders. However, adults can do the most out of any age group, such as reach the top of a career, have babies and they also don't go to school, which I have never been fond of dealing with that annoying homework.

Favourite to least favourite:
1. Teenagers (I just love all their quirks and how they're kind of at the stage of discovering things about themselves, plus rebellious teens are fun to play)
2. Adults
3. Toddlers (because they're really cute despite being such a pain to look after)
4. Children (again, they're cute, but kinda boring sometimes and they annoy me a lot of the time too)
5. Elders
6. Babies

Awesomeness is awesome. Don't even try to deny it.

Now that I do have all EPs I'd put YA about where Teen is - it would be between Adult and Teen if college wasn't so long in game. Seriously, it's almost as many days as the entire adult stage!

Favorite to least favorite:
1. Babies (yes, I know it's weird, but I just love making stuff for babies! Plus, they're so cute!)
2. Toddlers (I find them easy to take care of, and if properly taken care of they've built up half their skillpoints by the time they're children. Plus, they're adorable! I sometimes even keep them toddlers for a little while longer)
3. Children
4. Adults
5. Teens
6. Young adults (I don't play them much now, but when I did, I spent a lot of time in the uni neighborhood).
7. Elders (I very rarely play them. If I need elders for a story, I sometimes use adults with greyish hair).

BTW I hate young children/toddlers in real life, too. IRL I prefer to be around adults or elders.
