Hi all, i have question, i've downloaded and installed ts3 custom hairs with some accessories on it (like ribbons, hat, etc). But when i tried to apply them at game, the accessories colors just following hair color (in other words, the accessories color didn't separated from hair colors).
How can i separate them?

Thanks before!

Wrong section, wrong forum all together.

MTS doesn't support the work of others.

Go to where you downloaded it and ask there.

BTW, unless you are pretty good at modding, meshing and using several channels and alphas, this will be VERY hard for you to change.
Most of the time the bows or barrettes use the color of the roots or tips.

I'm going to go ahead and answer anyway. : /

A lot of the hairs with accessories are part of the actual hair. Usually are recolored by the root color. As for separating them, I don't think you can. But I guess there is some way to work on others' custom content.

All that really needed to be said was that the accessory is probably part of the hairstyle itself. I am assuming that MTS wants people to be part of their community (hopefully that is why there is a forum) and spouting off one line sentences to people that are just asking a simple question doesn't make for a very welcoming environment. I have noticed that there are a few posters that have taken it upon themselves to list the forum rules to other posters in a lot of posts that may not be in the right place or they are asking for information that isn't supported. Isn't that what the moderators are for?

When someone has one post, it's always best to point out that they are in the wrong section.
I did answer them to the best that I knew.

If a mod had seen this first they would have said the same thing.

We don't support others work.

They didn't say what hair they had or where they got it, so I can't say for certain whether the accessory is recolorable or not.
Thanks for drudging this thread up to chastise me.

Lets avoid turning this site and forum into another "More Awesome Then You" forum...

LMAO!! You think I sound like I belong at MATY.....they would take serious offense to that.

Not to mention, the OP logged out as soon as they posted that question and have not been back since.

I posted two minutes after they logged off.

Why would posting the truth and not being rude about it run someone off?

If you all have an issue with me take it up in pms or report me to a mod.

My point was simply that this was a new poster and maybe being a little be more friendly would of been more of a welcome. Being a new poster I am sure that they do not know the rules even though you should read them. As for the poster not being back since they posted I sometimes post and don't come back for 2 weeks because I'm not playing the sims during that time. For people that have been here awhile I'm sure your answer was just fine. Also, I didn't "druge" up the post, it was the second post on the first page.
