So I have a couple They had three child together, a boy. And shortly after a girl, and then another girl. The older two children are teenagers now, and I just noticed something weird. When you look at relations the second born sim, Delilah says "Half-sister" to the other two sims so I looked at my family tree of Delilah, and the father of the family says "Step-Father" to her, and she has no father. It Purely says she has a mother. I dont understand how this could have possibly happened. I didnt make the mother woo-hoo any other sims but her husband, and I know exactly when i made them "Try for baby" and when she got pregnant. I didnt have any kind of cheats or anything at that time. I cant tell if she is going to look like an exact clone of the mother just yet, but as for eye color and hair color and facial structures it looks like they are exactly the same. I will try to get a prt sc of the family tree in a little. Anyone else have this problem? |

That sounds a bit like EA "story progression" (or rather lack thereof) in action. |

This has happened to me with an active family! It freaked me out because the mother had three mothers who looked like clones of her! (They also were all lesbians by Story Progression) |

I think I've heard of something like this. Were they married at the time she was born? |

Have you got the super computer mod? If so you can use the 'Add Parent' option on it that allows you to add a parent to a sim. And yes, this is quite a common error with sims whos parents aren't married. |

They were married at the time. I didnt move them or anything, It was the first family I started playing with, there wasnt even any other active familys into the mix until they were both children. I has to be a story progression error, but I wasnt even switching active households until a long time after she was born... I wouldn't find it so weird, but she was the second born. The first one turned out fine, and I made them try for a baby as soon as I could, cause I wanted two around the same age. Thanks for the help. I do not have the super computer mod, but what does it do? |
