I haven't found anyone else with this problem, but whenever I start up the sims 3,and attempt to update the new patch my game makes an allegation that it is already up to date. It is currently version 1.4.6.1. I removed my mod folder, but still, my game was not moved by that action. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks. |

Don't patch. 1.6 is nothing but trouble. |

But don't I need to patch to get WA? I eventually want to add the expansion, but have been hesitant to buy it with all of the issues. |

Yeah you need it for WA. If you end up buying it then face that road when you get to it. Don't make yourself update beforehand. |
