In my CAS the Hair bin is empty. Nothing shows up not even the Box that will pop out with the hair in it. All other bins show fine. Also. Only 3 of the 16 Sims I have downloaded are showing up. not in any age or size. They show that they are installed in the game i just can not find them in the sims bin. No WA installed...... patch 1.7.9 |

Have you tested whether this problem persists without custom content? See this FAQ for how to properly remove it: http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...Loading_Crashes |

This fixed the hair issue. However it did not find the missing sims. Still dont see anyof the sims I have downloaded from here or the exchange. Thanks for helping me with the hair. Now if we can find the sims! 1. To delete your cache files, open your MY DOCUMENTS\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ folder. Inside will be a number of cache files: * CasPartCache.package * compositorCache.package * scriptCache.package * simCompositorCache.package |

How and where did you install the sims? And where are you looking for them? |

Some where from here and I put them in my doc/ ea games/saved sims file. the others are from the exchange and i installed them via the launcher. they all some in the saved sims file but only 5 show up. 5 that I DL from here. ![]() I have done all this... # Download the sim file. # Extract from the zip or rar. # Place .sim files in your My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. # Double-click .sims3pack files to install |

If sims from this site work fine and only the ones from the Exchange don't, then it's an issue with those Exchange downloads and not with your game. We don't do support for Exchange stuff here .. I guess it's kind of unlikely that the creators of those sims can help you and/or fix their uploads, but you could try asking them. I wouldn't really recommend downloading from there .. it's basically the rubbish dump of sim content, where all the stuff accumulates that no fansite would accept. Let us know if you still have issues with your actual game (not with particular content), otherwise I'm going to lock this. |
