 Theory: Christmas stuff confirms next expansion is pets.

There is no better gift than a Mochi’s Doggie Present for your favorite pooch. This wonderful present is decorated with a lovely bow and a plush “Mochi the Dog” doll embracing the package. Thoughts? It seems strange to me for them to mention "our beloved pets" and our "favorite pooch" and give us an item solely meant to be "for" pets...when we don't have pets! And I am gonna take it as a hint. :D |

Very strange indeed! I hope it is  Allthough i think its odd that it is mentioned since the stuff pack is said to be yet quite a while. Doesent make sense to announce another expansion before that, so it would be a while and therefore not relevant to what we download now  Arrg i wish they would just spill all the info/plans already! |

Ok pets for me was the worst EP for the Sims 2. I don't need this again for Sims 3. Really sad.

I actually think, Pets would be nice. I think, people that go around with their dogs in the city, cats, and maybe free animals like pigeons and other birds could give the game a lot of more life. But I really want weather, snow, seasons etc. Unfornuatley, I think they will want to release it in fall or winter because of the snow theme, so it will be probably released not until November 2010. And I hope, that they merge weather with freetime. (Merging it with pets and ofb would be nice, too, but it doesn't really fit together). Only including weather is probably too little for an EP, as planting and all the stuff is already included in the basegame. |

Pets would be great if they actually made different animals. But I sincerely doubt it. I really want OFB and Seasons, badly. That is cool though, thank you for pointing it out.. I didn't notice at all. I'm excited to see what the next expansion is! |

If it is pets, I only want two things: -Competitions in the park -Specialized leash animation. Sim holds the animal on a leash, walks them on a leash, and when interacting with other sims their busy hand just simply stays with the leash instead of requiring them to drop everything to do hand gestures. |

Slightly off topic: I'm so upset because I can't access my sims 3 account to buy the Christmas stuff. I'm so mad at EA but I'm willing to beg for a valid account and serial number just for Christmas-y stuff in my game.  Back on Topic: I was quite disappointed in Pets in sims 2. Dogs and cats. Wow. I was expecting  bunnies, horses, snakes... the whole lot seeing as I was so excited.  But I really want a weather expansion next. I miss snow and rain. |
