I finally found the entrance to the secret base, but it's in the house where nobody lives. How am I supposed to get in? Is there some cheat code for sneaking or is there another way how to open up the door? By the way, I have reached the last level in criminal career, but I still can't break into houses.

You could go to edit town and move a family out of another house and into that house.

i have the same problem but the house is 350,000 simoleans, so i am going to try to find a family with enough money in egypt, and then put them back when i am done with the challenge.

also i have heard that using testing cheats enabled true will reset the assignments of what families live where and who has what job. haven't tried it yet myself. alot if times when the adventures break i left click 'em, and then click the adventure board till it comes up again. that way it resets and whatever stupid glitch was blocking progress is cleared. maybe it will put the sneak in option back up on that house.

does the home opener allow you to enter the houses or just peek?

Have you tried to go after midnight, because that's when I went and got the option to sneak. Hope that works for you too!
