Hi. I'm new to the Sims 2 community just a few days ago and just now I tried building a house. At first, I created this house on a neighborhood with a desert terrain, but I thought it didn't look nice so I transferred the house to a grass terrain neighborhood. The problem now is I want to make to terrain inside the lot the same as the terrain outside the lot (look at the attached pic) but I don't know how or if it is even possible. Hope you guys could help me. |

The default grass texture is not in the catalog, but it can easily be unlocked: 1. Open TSData/Res/Catalog/Scripts/terrainPaints.txt (make a backup first) 2. Edit the entries you want to unlock like so: Before: terrainPaint "lottexture-canvas-desert" brushWidth 3 notInCatalog terrainTypeSoundSuffix "grass" After: terrainPaint "lottexture-canvas-desert" brushWidth 3 #notInCatalog terrainTypeSoundSuffix "grass" In other words, put a hash (#) before "notInCatalog", that's the delimitor for comments in these scripts. |

Newbie Road/Wee Barnoid: Starter houses | Backdoor Lane: Urban lots | Baskerville | Middleground | Elsewhere I'm gone for now. Boats > Sims. Thanks for everything – it was a great time! |
