My game is for a PowerPc, but my father has a program that allows my iMac Intel to run TS2. However, my game I believe needs to be registered, but the only thing the export tool says when I try to upload to Ts2.com, is that the network connection failed.
And I can't re-register my game, since the code has already been used. Dx

If you install the combo patch, The Sims 2 runs perfectly on an Intel Mac without using Rosetta. That might help your Internet connection in-game. Yes, you can re-register if you use your original EA user account. If you are trying to pirate using somebody else's game, it isn't going to work. You'll be able to play, but not connect to the Exchange. In that case you need to man up and buy the game.

I haven't pirared the game, I've bought it new on eBay years ago, my game says it can't be re-registered because I already registered it. I registered it before I switched computers. Dx I am bad at explaining things.

I found that there is now an exchange patch which fixes exactly what I'm trying to explain at the moment, but they don't have it for Mac. Dx

If you have already registered the game then you can access the Exchange using the username and password you registered with. You get a message saying the game is already registered, but the old username and password work in game, because that's the account to which the game is registered.

If you have used the old original first patch to the Mac game it borks the connection to the Exchange. Make sure you are using the Dec 07 Combo patch.
