s3pi:
1001-16-1636 -- latest rev: 327

GenericRCOLResource.cs:
Start each RCOL chunk on a four-byte boundary.

MATD.cs:
Correct writing of offsets within ShaderData EntryLists.
Add checking of offsets within ShaderData EntryLists.
Amend EntryList stream constructor to manage the element handler correctly.

s3pe:
1001-16-1638 -- latest rev: 432

Annoying VisualStudio error removed, restoring context menu Add, Import and Export.

And pick up latest s3pi with fixed MATD.

I couldn't wait try the new copy button added to S3pe, and I have to say it works better than expected. When I mentioned it in a thread, I was only thinking about being able to copy recolours so we could add and change them easier. But you made the copy button work on different levels. So, not only was I able to add 7 recolours to the cube (which only has 3), I was able to add two pattern selections to it also

I'm so happy *sniff* Thank you *sniff*

p.s. Base Game.

Oh - this also contains the changes that were in the withdrawn version and can be found here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthre...684#post3010684

In user-experience terms the main enhancements are:
1) the request for copying blocks in the Grid has been implemented
2) data is no longer passed to external editors on the clipboard, by default. This has changed some syntax in helpers.txt, so if you maintain your own version, please read the Help to see how it has changed.

Anyone else with feedback? I'm not proposing this for public release until 3 people say they're using it without problems :D

I couldn't change the footprint values with this version, the changes just wouldn't stick after clicking commit. It works in the Dec 13th release.

The copy function worked perfectly though.

Do you mean using Grid or using the Edit button?

Grid. I don't get the edit function for the FTPT type, I suppose that would require some external program?

I tried to install and use this and the previous version of S3PE on a quad core computer running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). Both times the Windows Compatibility message popped up saying that the program may not have installed correctly. I haven't chosen to associate .package files with the program, only selecting the options to install start menu folder and desktop shortcut.

Also there is a thick solid bar at the bottom of the window which covers up the area where the External Helpers? are/were. This bar is there even when the S3PE window is minimized.

mtsimguy, can we have a screenshot of this thick solid bar please? In good resolution - I need to study it in detail.

Sorry, I was getting confused...

Yes, Inge's identified there are a number of issues with the latest build. Sorry, it's back to the Release version if you need to do anything but Copy..!

Sorry Inge.

I'm hoping that the attached screenshots at 1280x800 pixels are clear enough. This solid bar doesn't appear to be in the Cloner windows. However, the Windows Compatibility warning also appears when I install the cloner in Windows 7.

Also brace yourself because it appears that there is another patch on the way which is required to run the High-End Loft Stuff Pack.

Thanks mtsimguy. That looks like your status bar, which is a normal part of the S3PE display. The problem is the display has not taken account of your screen resolution. As a workaround for now, you should be able to pull that panel taller, by dragging the divider upwards.

It should then remember your settings. But I thought I was calculating the default lower pane height adequately...

Thanks Inge for letting me know that the panel height can be adjusted. I can now access the Helpers area and view IMG files and STBLs within the program.

I forgot to mention that I use a 22" monitor which sets the recommended screen resolution to 1680x1050 pixels. I also had to turn Windows Aero off and switch to the Windows 7 Basic scheme.

I'm not sure if I had to adjust the panel height before because I haven't used S3PE or the Cloner since August 2009.

Once again thank you for your help and all the hard work you have been doing to enable us to create custom content.

Just wanted to let you know that I run W7 with a 24" monitor (1920x1080). I use the manual install and the layout is perfect. I'm not sure if the install version has something different for coding though. I just tested as full screen, even though I never use it in full screen, and the status bar still stays in the same place.
