This program is a tool to make new morphs for body meshes and new CAS sliders for faces.
Features:
Accepts morph meshes and converts them to BGEO files containing the morph information.
Creates the necessary supporting files to use new morphs in the game.
Edits clothing packages to import the new morph and link it correctly.
Creates packages for sliders.
Has help screens with brief instructions for the basic tasks.
What it does not do:
Does not create morph meshes. Use Milkshape with Wes Howe's plugins for that: Download here.
Only runs on Windows.
Notes:
MorphMaker does not compress files when it adds them to packages. You can use S3PE to compress them later if you want, but it's not necessary.
I haven't tried morphing hair meshes - MorphMaker may handle them fine but that needs testing.
The morphs this program makes have been tested in all versions including World Adventures.
Please report any problems, but make sure you have your game set up properly and have other custom content working before telling me the morphs you made with this don't work. Also make sure you haven't reached the limit for sliders. (If you have TS3 1.8 or WA 2.3, use Jonha's slider limit mod available here, AwesomeMod, the Extended Game Core mod, or the adult Extended Game Core at SexySims2.)
Installation
Extract MorphMaker.exe and salflibc.dll to the same folder.
Additional Credits:
Delphy and Wes Howe for their help, and for CTU (Delphy) and the Milkshape plugins (Wes).
Echo for Postal
P L Jones for S3PE Base1980, Rez Delnava, Alek, and everyone else who tested and gave feedback and suggestions.
** Updated 2/28/2010: No changes, but rebuilt with a new version of FTN95 Fortran with Windows 7 support. Note that both MorphMaker.exe and the supporting salflibc.dll must be replaced. Both are in the new download.
** 3/28/2010: Version 2.1 uploaded. Changes/features:
** 6/5/2010: Version 2.2 uploaded. Two bug fixes:
** 7/4/2010 Version 2.3 uploaded. Bug fix:
** 2/25/2012 Version 2.4 uploaded. New feature:
This will almost certainly be the last update of MorphMaker, since I'm working on building its functions into a new tool which should do more, look better, not have the Windows 7 freezing problem, and should also run on Mac and Unix with Mono.
** 9/4/2012 Version 2.5 uploaded.
Fixes a major bug introduced in the last version that broke morph links from the CASP file when adding morphs and basically borked the whole package. Where's a headdesk icon when you need it? There's also a new version of the supporting salflibc.dll platform which appears to significantly improve the file selection problems with Windows 7. As noted above, in the next few months I should have a new and much better version of this software.

** 3/28/2010: Version 2.1 uploaded. Changes/features:
- More better Windows 7 support
- You can now resize the window if buttons, etc. are being cut off
- Options to change the font size and default window size
- Added 'Morph Mingle', a new feature to combine two morph meshes into one. This is to make it easy to see the effects of two morphs together (fit/fat and fit/thin) without having to run the game each time. Just use Morph Mingle to create a combined mesh and open it in Milkshape or a viewer.
** 6/5/2010: Version 2.2 uploaded. Two bug fixes:
- Will automatically add .package when saving a package file.
- Unpacking routine modified so package edit won't choke on a CASP with a lot of patterns. It should be able to handle at least nine patterns now, but may crash on more.
** 7/4/2010 Version 2.3 uploaded. Bug fix:
- Fixed broken link in bi-directional facial sliders.
** 2/25/2012 Version 2.4 uploaded. New feature:
- Added experimental fix for very high-poly meshes.
- A few minor tweaks and bug fixes.
- Includes minor update of underlying platform, so replace salflibc.dll as well.
This will almost certainly be the last update of MorphMaker, since I'm working on building its functions into a new tool which should do more, look better, not have the Windows 7 freezing problem, and should also run on Mac and Unix with Mono.

About Me
If you have a problem with one of my mods, please post in the thread for that mod. There's no reason to pm me - it fills up my inbox and means no one else is going to be able to learn from your problem and my answers.
My policy on use of my work:
Feel free to use any of my meshes, morphs, skins, or whatever as a base. If you change, convert, or enhance my stuff you may post it without asking, but please give credit. If you use them without changes, please post a link to my downloads rather than reposting. However, you may include them with Sims or lots without asking, but with credit.
Please do not post anything using my creative work on any pay site or the Exchange, unless it's in a free section of a pay site. If you want to post your own original creation made using my tools to a pay site or the Exchange, you may do so, but give credit for the tool.
Obviously my tools are for free use by anyone, but I'd appreciate a credit if you post something created with them.
So basically: no pay site, no Exchange, give credit. Other than that, meh.
If at some time I lose interest in Sims 3, or am too busy, or die, anyone who wants to may update/modify/add to any of my work as long as they follow the MTS policy on updating broken or outdated custom content.
I don't take requests. Suggestions for enhancing work I'm doing or have done are welcome, whether or not I act on them, but please no requests for totally unrelated stuff that I probably have no idea how to do.
