One night I had a dream that my Grandpa and I were in a boat, fishing in a lake. We were suddenly attacked by a great white shark and I was thrown from the boat. I asked my Grandpa for help. He then throws me the most hideous couch cushion I've ever seen in my life. As I sank to the bottom of the lake while holding on to the cushion, the shark circled back and swam towards me. I shoved the couch cushion in his mouth and swam as quickly as I could to the surface and got back into the boat.

There was once a silly kitten who had used the same username on everything for years. She was thirteen and thought being thirteen made her awesome, so she chose a username to show off that she was, well. Thirteen.

Now that kitten is almost sixteen, and she had a nightmare just the other day. She was a candle! Which was pretty horrifying, because this particular kitten was a pyrophobic. Even worse, she was the kind of candle that women thought were romantic. Don't get the kitten started on the horrible "romantic" music, either. Ugh. Anyways, the kitten - er, candle, saw some pretty horrifying things in her little nightmare.

When the kitten woke up, she discovered it wasn't a nightmare - she really was a candle! Or maybe she wasn't really awake...
And then a unicorn burst forth from the middle of nowhere, stared into the candle's flame, and bequeathed the name NightmareCandle upon the kittencandlething. From that day forth, the kitdle was known as NightmareCandle.

I am knowledgeSim (the name that appears inside my packages). I've been playing and building for years, but only until the last year I've started learning about recolors, meshes and mods. I've been downloading like mad... but haven't been uploading anything (too scared to, even now ) and I've finally started, in my own blog. I've been wanting a username change for some time, but couldn't come up with a good story "not Sims related" (too obsessed I guess? ). So I made one and in the end I liked it so much that I used it to open my blog (but I've been too "Vidcund" to also make new pictures ). This should explain it everything:

Everyone knows Vidcund Curious is a control freak. That's why his position related to the current political situation in Strangetown isn’t quite clear yet. Vidcund has built countless robots. He has become a wide variety of monsters successively or simultaneously. And he's the proud father of two alien girls. As you can imagine, he would never agree with General Grunt's proposals. These proposals include measures such as banning the use of robots for non-military purposes, implementation of mass healing / killing of monsters, and of course removing the aliens from the face of the Earth.
But Vidcund doesn't either find adequate the way the current mayor is facing Gen. Grunt’s attempts to end the cultural diversity policy and stop the free development of science. Vidcund refuses to accept the mess that Strangetown seems to be sinking in. "There must always be a system!" he has often repeated. Luke usually laughs when comparing his brother to a machine facing an unsolvable paradox. "There has been a progressive malfunction in his operation", he commented to a neighbor.
He no longer leaves the house. When he does, he’s seen breaking into other people houses running and screaming in the most inexplicable way. He stopped going to work, and he hasn’t been fired already just because he is considered to be a legend among his colleagues. The issue affects him so bad that he no longer wants to talk to anyone and he spents most of the day locked up in his room playing with his Sims.
And also designing things that will never work. Things that even in the case they were finally made to work, they wouldn’t seem useful to anyone but him. And even assuming they could finally result (unexpectedly) useful... they would never be finished, anyway. Since before he has already completed a project, Vidcund always comes up with an idea for something much more rare and original. Which completely distracts his attention and makes him lose interest in the project he had already started.
This is the case of the machine to force permanent snow. (Project that came after the telescope to force storms and lightning... study which once finished provided results both successful and hilarious, and which was replicated with equal success by many university students). He has created the Weathernaught 77Z-Snow for the following reasons:
1- The idea of a snowy but still warm desert is unique, rare and unusual.
2- No one thought of it before.
3- The result would be quite rare and unusual.
4- The idea is original and its aim, incomprehensible.
5- It's the only thing he can focus on right now, because his mind is not working as before, while it still requires that he's focused on something.
There has been several attempts from the municipality to incorporate him into decision-making, but he is too radical in his views. Radical views are highly valued in Strangetown, because they tend to be original, strange and impossible to understand. The problem is that he refuses to listen to other people radical views. He has recently written in his blog: "Chaos is inacceptable. And it continues in Strangetown because each element is persisting in isolated actions, in the most unsystematic way... There is a culture, of knowledge, which I value, but knowledge in these conditions can not develop. So for now I prefer to experience my ideas with those who are actually able to take advantage of them: my Sims, and the ants of my ant farm."
This decision represents a big relief for his tight budget, as at least he won’t be needing to continue wasting expensive materials to create his mods.

I hope there isn't any confusing part due to gramatical mistakes (I speak spanish). This is my idea of Vidcund's personality (which you see in my avatar) and I must admit I resemble him in some aspects (but not all of them!)... too many unfinished, probably absurd projects . But in case I can get at least one of them actually finished, and it's something that could seem useful to other ones but me... well, it would be nice to see it uploaded here at MTS in a thread created by knowledgeSim. Otherwise, I'll just hope you had fun with my story. Thanks

I would like to change my name to Gabrielazy.

My reason is because when I registred in this site 6 years ago I didnt know wich nickname I would use, so I used my name and my birth date (I'm that creative lol), now I would like to use here the same nickname I use in my blog.

Here is my funny story:
One night, a few co-workers at the computer data center where I work stayed late and we all started to get hungry. We decided to order in food by phone because we were lazy to go out, but our boss thought that, since we work with computers, it would be more appropriate to order by Internet. After we contacted a fast food chain's web site and spent a long time registering as new customers for the delivery service, a message appeared on the screen: "Thank you for your registration. You will be able to order food in three days". So they decided to go out for the food, but I told to my co-workers that I was lazy and didnt want to go out. Everyone laughed and we finally order by phone. Since that day they call me Gabrielazy and I like it, so I want to use it as a nickname =)

A boy with a computer once did say,

nintendo93mat, a username he went for
He used it for email, YouTube and more,
He did not know that when he grew up,
His mind would be more open to other stuff,
So he thought of a name to suit that,
And came up with the username Grimat,

That an Admin would come answer his hymns,

Ouch. That was cold, dude... D: That was really cold. Poetry is one thing, but somewhat insulting poetry is crossing the line...

I know it's a hassle to change someone's username, but when you somewhat insult people for not being entertaining...

I have a story that might grow you a heart:

There once was a user who had my username. He was an interesting person that many people liked, but he ended up commiting suicide. Why did he, you may be asking? Because a moderator who was very similar to you wouldn't let him change his username. Sims was his life, and he couldn't bear to use this username anymore. But the moderator wouldn't let him, because he needed a story. Don't do this to me, leesester. Don't make me end up like that man! *Sobs* *Cries uncontrolably*

So...can I please has name change? I want PupdudeNeedsNewShoes

Hmmm..... lets see now.

Option 1 : Be funny and entertaining and get a username change
Option 2: Call a moderator who writes an entertaining limerick a heartless person (and give that moderator an arbitrary sex change) with absolutely no knowledge of the events leading to writing said limerick and not get a username change.

I believe that you are the only one joking about suicide (In a rather cold way). It's called overdramatization ACBIA hyperbole. You have no sense of humor.

Actually, I'm quite in favor of encouraging the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan to grow up. I just wish he would! There are a lot of stories he could come up with involving the turtles getting tired of grown up life or something, rather than insulting the moderator who was pointing out that he wasn't very funny and needed to try again.
