WHen you use the installer... where does the s3packs go?

When I try to uninstall something using the installer, you sometimes cannot find the object... is there a way around this?

Also, when a creator updates a s3pack does it automatically update the file?

The Launcher saves Sim3packs to the DCCache or DCBackup files under My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3 depending on what it is. You will also find what you downloaded under the Downloads folder there too.

The Launcher is known to have problems/bugs and otherwise not work properly. Yet this is what EA wants you to install/uninstall and run their game with. There are ways around using the launcher and can be found in the Vast Help sections here.

Sim3packs do not auto update. You must check back with the creator and download/install the latest manually.
