This thread is for creators of custom content for The Sims 2 to post that they're open to requests. If you make stuff for TS2 and you don't mind requests or suggestions, you can post here letting people know. Make sure to specify what type of things you can make!

Making Requests:

If you see a creator listed who makes the sort of thing you'd want to request, click on their name to go to their profile, and then send them a Private Message (PM) with your request. Make sure you've actually read the text of their post - asking a builder to make hair for you is just silly.

Do NOT PM everyone on this list - that's spam! Pick the creator who sounds like the best fit for your request and contact them. If they say no or don't get back to you within a week or so, thank them for their time, then try someone else

Be nice, say please and thank you, and remember, it's a request, not a demand! Nobody is obligated to make anything for you at all.

If there's nobody on the list who makes what you want, you might just have to learn how to make it yourself - we have tons of help in doing so under the Create forums, including tutorials, tips, tricks, and Q&A forums if you get stuck. There are also requests forums on InSIMenator and Garden of Shadows.

I will take TS2 requests for Maxis Match windows and doors. Since there are loads of those out there on the internet, please look first before you ask. If you can't find it, then I will make it and offer it here on MTS for upload.

If it makes it through the queue, you get your item.

I will take TS2 requests for behaviour changes, new interactions on objects, that sort of thing. I am especially keen to hear about any gameplay annoyances you suffer - if they are little quirks I might be able to fix them quickly too. I am not a mesher - do not request anything with complicated object requirements. Have a look at my set of current uploads and you'll get the idea.

I don't promise to make anything requested as I have more ideas than time, but if your request is interesting and challenging it may well make it to the top of my list. I guess what I'm saying is that it is worth asking me, but there is no guarentee that I'll ever do anything!

If you need skins or eyes made into defaults, I can do that.

I've taken some requests for wings (they come in all ages and both genders as accessories).

If you have a nice hair or clothing mesh that you'd like recolored, I can do that. I can also put them in the proper bins.

I will take requests for community lots or houses. Modern or present stuff.

I will take requests for TS2.

I have made multiple walls and floors for my own games, though i have recently just begun uploading to mod sites. You can find two sets I have uploaded here at my The Sims Resource profile page.

I am willing to make custom walls, floors, lots, and simple clothing; however I do NOT handle custom objects or object recolors, nor do i make meshes.

Also I do have a real life so it may take some time for me to work on your request. Requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

I will take requests, but don't hate me if I say no, or give you a link to what you're asking for. Why should I make another version of the same thing? For instance i got a request for Kingdom Hearts eyes, PLEASE look before you request to me!
I love to do Anime Eyes and stuff, just give me a link to a picture of what you want. Also, I mainly do eyes, I've done some clothes for myself or my BFF, but I don't upload any right now, I do not mesh.. And I'm no good with hacks . Or making houses.

I will take any requests dealing with building lots, I can't make neighborhoods (lost my SC4 disk), but am definitely open to making lots of ANY type - within reason.

I have Uni, Seasons, FT, and AL. That's it (i.e. if you want a nightclub I could make one, it'll be a little altered though, I can't make things like restaurants).

Wow! My QUEUE is FULL! No More REQUESTS for now!

I have a few months request work to do so I am temporarily calling a halt to new requests until I get the stuff in my queue cranked out. I have several accepted requests that I still need to post but I am in the middle of upgrading my home computer to Windows 7. When I finish the upgrade over the weekend (hopefully), look at my journal to see what is in my queue and where I'm at. I have to post requested NYPD cop uniforms, some whacko, hip-high B*tch boots lol, the Alamo, and.. uh,, I forget what all is in there.


as of 3-5-10 - I am working on the Bruce Lee Dojo accessory pack which I hope is good enough to post here to share with others.

as of Nov 2010 - I have had way too many problems with my computer (no money for new parts) and TS3 that TS2 was not even installed until last week. SO, that means I haven't done a thing, zilch, nada, nuttin, not a dag nabbit thing except the foundation contest, other than cuss in the general direction of my computer for wasting my limited creation time on hardware and software problems. **PHEW* that's over. My computer is up and running again. I finally got both TS2 and TS3 working on it, no sudden reboots and crashes.... (new 2 TB hard drive) So on Turkey weekend, I had hoped to get busy on some TS3 creations and the STOOPID store content downloads broke AGAIN. Foolishly, I listened to the EA tech who told me I HAD to reinstall my game.. and that took all my spare time last weekend so again.. I didn't get a dagnabbit thing done... I have decided to hell with the STORE, I want a refund on the washing machines which I foolishly tried to buy with real money.. The game finally got reinstalled and is working again.. albeit without my washing machines.... SOOOOOooOOo.. Now I have to install all my modding software, cuz you can't do that until the game is working..... SOoOoO, as you can see, I haven't created a darned thing this last year.... EA is retarded - they are so worried about theft of their store content that they are pissing off the ones who actually pay real money for their stuff.

Ok, End of rant - you may return to your normally scheduled download-a-holicism.

I thank all of you who are in my request queue for being patient. (or you've forgotten all about it) I have not forgotten the requests I've accepted. I have not been able to get into production mode.

*TS2 * My Preference is to make NEW Meshes

I've not done much meshing since TS3 came out but I think it's time I got back to work on stuff. Most of my stuff has been part of theme projects so you may not be aware of all the stuff I've worked on. Look at N8iveSims and High Rollers for my theme stuff. I like to make new meshes. I am not all that great at 'fingerpaints' so artistic skintones, new eyes, makeup and stuff, I won't do. Besides there are many great artists, out there who do make those now anyway.

I prefer to mesh clothing, objects and furniture and I build stuff.

* I have a preference for ethnic and period/retro clothing which is in short supply in the game. If you want me to make ethnic clothing you must supply photos. Of course, I have to like the item.
Please upload your photo to someplace like photobucket and send me the direct link. I don't want to go to a whole page of images and guess which one you are talking about. Also I don't like to go to random gaming sites and web pages because of the spyware/ malware/ viral potential. So a direct email image that appears inside my email is preferred. thanks.

I've had several requests for new clothing meshes which tells me I need to clarify what I require from you. I am open to new clothing meshes provided I like the item and you do the shopping for me. I make meshes for fun but I do not have time to go shopping for hairstyles or pictures, or textures, etc. Making new meshes takes a considerable amount of time and effort to do well. I am volunteering to make things that you can't make for yourself. However, it is a two-way street. I expect certain things from you before I will start working on your request.

New clothing mesh requirements:

I'd like to see a wide variety of Ethnic clothing for the game as stated above. However, unless it's from my cultural mileu, I have no idea if what I am looking at is appropriate for your ethnic clothing request. Presume I know nothing about your culture. Therefore If I accept your request, I will give you a shopping list which you must fulfill before I will start working on your meshes. Agreed? Once I receive the requested shopping items, I will place your request in the order I've received other finished shopping lists. So basically, the faster you fulfill your part, the further up my queue your request will be. And as an incentive to you, I won't waste your time by giving you a shopping list unless I do intend to make your garment.

Stage One: (What I need from you before I will consider your item.)

* I need to know which age and sex you want your item to fit.
* I need 1 full length front view and 1 full length back view if possible so I can see all sides of the garment. I need to see the details.
* And select ONE style per request. I've had several people give me a wide variety of things to choose from. I have no idea what kind of mix and match is allowed for your ethnic clothing request so you must pick ONE style per request. I will do my best to make the mesh according to what your picture looks like.
* You may ask if I'd make the vest from # 1 and the skirt from # 2, That's fine with me. But I will not guess if a vest goes with a different skirt or pants. I have no knowledge of what's acceptable for your ethinic attire so I will make the garment per the pictures you provide.

If I agree to make your item, you must fulfill Stage Two to get your request into my queue. I will not start working on it until you fulfull my shopping list.

Stage Two: I must have these items delivered before I put your request in my queue. This means I am interested in working on your request provided you fullfill my shopping requirements. I need direct links to images. I will not go shopping for you. Don't ask me to choose for you from a whole site. You need to make a request based on which one you'd like, then I will tell you if I will make that specific item for you. If you are serious about your request and realize how long it takes to make a good item, you will understand and provide what I need. Thanks.

* If you want me to make hats or headdresses, I need closeups of front, side and back so I can understand their construction. If you can get a view from the top, that is good but not required. I need these views to mold the correct shape.
* I need GOOD closeups of the garment textures which I need to 'paint' their clothing. You must provide an image of a fabric swatch that I can use for their clothing. Teeny-tiny photos won't work because they don't scale correctly and will be too grainy in the texture.
* Shoes - I need closeups of the sides and tops of the shoes so I can shape and texture them correctly.
* Jewelry - close ups so I can see the details and make good textures.
* Hair is not my strong suit so I am not interested in hair at this time. however, I will make hats/head dresses for existing hairstyles, provided the hair maker allows modification of their hair. For non meshers - what you don't know, is that under the hat, there is no hair. So'd I'd be modding their hair, mainly by taking the top off their hairstyles where it's under a hat.

** I can make hats that can be worn with and over several hairstyles - however, the hairstyles need to be of a certain type that won't poke through the hat. I require pictures of the hairstyles and the hat. I will only attempt those if I think it's doable.
** I'd have to like the hat/headdress

Once you've filled my shopping list, I will put you in my queue in the order received.

NEW SIMS

I am not really interested in making sims - mainly because I am not all that great at painting.

Let me repeat and rephrase. I am NOT interested in making Sims. Most of the request that came to me were for sims I don't even know or care about, but the people requesting the sims never provided the necessary front and profile pics.. A big waste of my time.. waiting around for the sim requestors to go do their homework... Thank you. .. Just in case you don't understand. NO SIMS REQUESTS. Not interested. No skills for it... well, not true.. I am not interested in making sims of people I am not interested in. There are plenty of artists out there who like to make sims. Find them. Thank you.

Oh, and one last time. NO SIMS REQUESTS

* I like kid stuff and will make toys and such if you provide pictures of what you want. See my little draggy kid bouncy thingy.

* I can make beds, dressers, tables, couches, art work, etc. Most of the household stuff and also plants. And weird, silly things like a translucent hot tub shaped like a cocktail glass. Provide photos of what you'd like. Closeups are good so I can grab textures.

I LOVE architecture. However, I require good photos and a floorplan. I can fake a floorplan if all you have is the outside elevation - see my Palazzo di Venetzia.

Caveats:

1: The building has to be something that is reasonably possible to build in TS2.
2. I have all EP's so you will need them all for my lots to work in your game.
3: I have to like the building. It needs to be architecturally interesting to me. I am not afraid of complexity however, the parts for it need to come from MTS2. I don't have time to go shopping on other sites.
4: I can make custom walls for any house I build.
5: I am NOT going to make something simple that I think anyone can make for themselves if they just try.
6: I DUMP everything out of my download folder except for what I am working on and am using for your lot. You will need to provide links for any non-game windows and doors you want me to use in your building.
7: I DO NOT have a TSR account so don't ask me to go there and get windows or doors for your building.

Things I am definitely not interested in:

GRUNGE
VAMPIRES
HORROR or other related icky stuff
GOTH
ANIME
dark and somber stuff - because I am a happy person. :D

* I am not interested in making doors or windows at this time.

I'll take requests for recolors of pretty much any buy mode object. I can also recolor clothing, though I don't have any uploaded here. I don't currently have all EP's installed, but I own them all. Just shoot me a PM.
EDIT: I can also make wallls, floors, and bedding. Bedding takes me awhile, but I'll take requests for it.

I could take a request of Hair retexture, both pay and free, just give me meshes and at least one recolour (I do retexture in Bodyshop, so I have to have at least one recolour)

I'm open to requests for Clothing meshes and other clothing and hair stuff, I mainly work on religious stuff (I.E. My newest project, Hasidic curls for the orthodox jewish people) and I hate doing satanist stuff. or satanic rather.

It usually takes me a few weeks to get something right. do not rush me

I am willing to take requests for TS2.

I love to recolor things. I usually focus on beddings, walls, and floors but I have also done object recolor’s (not all uploaded). I am more than willing to try anything, but I must warn you I do not mesh. If I did your game would explode .

I'm taking requests for anime and manga character clothes and makeup.

I can take requests on Clothing, or Object Recolors. I do NOT mesh.

I prefer goth, fantasy, or historical(mostly medieval) but I am open to other things.

I am also getting into walls and floors, but they are not my main priority.

I have all expansions and stuff packs.

I am willing to take Sims 2 requests for recolors of buy and build mode objects (excluding fireplaces and chimneys because I lose patience with them.) I have several items posted here on MTS that you can check out.

I enjoy creating more colors for Maxis items, but may also recolor CC objects (free sites only, absolutely no TSR stuff) if the original creator allows recolors. You must provide me with a direct link the the item you want recolored.

I have University, Night Life, Open For Business, Seasons and the Glamour Life stuff pack only.

I do not mesh at all, I don't know anything about meshing. I do not do CAS recolors (hair, clothes, accessories or skins.)

I reserve the right to turn down any request that doesn't catch my interest or that exceeds my skills.

I will take requests for clothing. But I need pics of the clothes I should create ´cause I usually make photo recolours.

I will take requests for lots (residential, community, apartments and dorms), eyes, anime or manga eyes and makeup clothing recolours and hair recolours.

I might turn down a request if I have no time or if I'm not interested.

Still Taking house requests, but dont get mad if I say no!

Require at least a fantastic description, or better a floor plan, and specific instructions of what you want, also weather you want downloads and links to ones you want, I dont do the running around for you!!
