Alright, so everything was running perfectly fine, custom content and all - I just was having a pool issue. It was recomended I loaded without custom content and I tried that, and it warned me Id lose it if I saved, so I carefully did NOT save, and loaded on a different lot than my home, which I worked hard on building (and still in process of finishing) was, so I wouldn't lose all the content I had in the home. I quit, without saving, and reloaded the game with custom content on. However, everything was gone. All my custom content, while still installed (I quit the game again and checked, it still shows up as downloaded and installed) is somehow missing from the game. I feel so stupid that I somehow effed the game up.. but anyway, can any of you tell me if there is a way to revert to my previous save? Which is from before I turned the custom content off? Once again, I did not save, but somehow the game automatically did or something so when I load everything is gone, and I'd like to go back to a few hours ago when it was all there, as I had saved earlier. Any way to do this? Thanks! |

ALSO, in case this is important, when loading the game it still shows my last save date as the last time I saved (before the content fiasco, and the save I want) so this just makes me more confused as why the content is missing, as the game lists last save as before. Hm. =/ |

This probably has more to do with how you loaded without content than the saving issue. Is your cc sims3packs, .packages or both? Did you check the "run without custom content" box on the launcher, or do something else? |

I clicked on the launcher and its sims3packs, if that helps! |

When I've done that previously, I had to delete my cache files and reload the game a few times for things to reappear. Sometimes they just didn't, and I had to re-download. After you install items via the launcher, do you delete them (also through the launcher)? If not, there will be a folder in documents/electronic arts/the sims 3 called downloads. Check that folder- is it empty? If empty and clearing your cache files doesn't work, you may be out of luck. If it has items in it, it's just a matter of getting the game to register those items. |

Thanks!! The items are there still, so I'll try clearing the cache! Thank you so much! |

Feeling like a bit of a chat about creation or just... whatever (not necessarily sims)?
