I don't understand how they work. I can place them but NOT in a wall or between a wall and a glass section like in the second picture.

I get the: "Can't be placed through a wall" error. Have i forgotten something?

EDIT: Forgot about the MoveObject On/Off cheat, works like a charm, great mod.

I build a lot of pergolas and overhangs, and not having the columns meet the roof is horribly annoying. This column will see tons of use here!

Just what I needed! EA columns are often too short (and have "too large bottom"), when you put porch roofing over them, and this should now be perfect.
