I'm relatively new to the Sims in general, and while poking around for downloads here I saw theres a ton of stuff for Sims 2 with relation to bizzarre creatures & monsters. The 'fake' mini-expansion 'It's Magic!' I found around ha a great compilation of stuff like wings and horns and such for creating monsters, and now its got me looking for other stuff. If you know of great monster/creature making resources in CAS, I'd love to know about it. I've already got extra skin tones, and various kinds of wings that are on this site, as well as Avatar tatoos and several interesting facepaints. What I'm particularly interested in are wings, tails, fins, and other such things. Also, a full-body leotard for all ages & categories would be awesome (for applying patterns to). |

I'm not sure what was in the fake EP, so forgive me if I recommend stuff you already have. Rose has devil and angel wings on her site, as well as butterfly wings, a fox tail, a floating bunny accessory and a whole slew of other things. They're all under Sims 3 -> Magic. Snake Legs has horns, a devil tail, wings, and cat ears and tail. There's some mermaid accessories at Sims Cave, which you need to sign up for to see. At The Rejected they have body/face masks which truly give your sims a monstrous appearance. Oh, and you have to have the fangs by Club Crimson. They can be found under Accessories. Lastly, there's a whole bunch of non default replacement skins at Gardon of Shadows. Remember, if you download any non default replacement skins, you need this mod. As for the full body leotard, there's this body suit. Since you only mentioned downloading wings, skins, and face masks here, there's also antlers converted by Claeric and bloodied/bruised/dirty fingers you could download. |

Fantastic... that body suit is exactly what i was looking for, I think, though its only female by the package name. I'll definitely go try that one shortly. Thanks for the directions to fangs - I saw their site, but apparently missed those. I'm not so keen on the costume stuff from The Rejected - it doesnt look like it will play well with some of the other stuff I've collected - but I think I'll check out the eye flair stuff theyve got... might be good for fairies if I decide to make anything along those lines. Rose's stuff is in the mod - the 'EP' is in essence an extention of her work, and was directly inspired by it according to its compiler. Snake Legs' stuff is in there too, so I've got that. And I did pick up those extra skins... definitely nice stuff there. Any idea how well the mermaid thing works? It looked pretty good from a portrait / artwork standpoint, but if its not somehow animated, it'll probably look really bizzarre when your sim tries to walk around town or sleep - the centaur body sock was like... great standing still, but actually DO anything and you just look bizzarre. Thanks for the pointers! I'm still on the lookout for any others. |

I didn't download the mermaid stuff since it's not quite my thing. I'd guess that it's the same as the centaur body, though. And I forgot to plug this blog earlier, but My Sims 3 Blog is a great place to find and keep up with custom content. |
