 DDS Plugin?

I downloaded the.dds plugin, but I have no idea how to install it  I've read every readme file i could find, but it's still too confusing. Can anyone help me? |

After you have downloaded the dds plugin (you may have to extract it if it came as a zip file) you need to manually place it as follows: C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins |
