Hello, I wouldst like unto knowe what "Alpha Editable" means. I saw this nice medieaval gown http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=250802 but all I understool beist that thee mayhap alter ye sleeve or somme parts... I doth notte understand ye olde english verily well can anyone answer what beist ye merit of this technique an beist yon a apprenticeship on this? ( I hath seen ye apprenticeship of howe unto create an alpha skirt) |

An alpha-editable mesh can allow you to change the length of a skirt or sleeves or pant legs (or whatever the alpha-editable part is) without having to change the shape of the mesh. If you'd like an example, have a look at the pink fairy costume for little girls that came with the base game. The wings and skirt are alpha-editable, which means you can change their opacity and shape (within the confines of the shape of the mesh, of course). If you want to make part of an alpha-editable mesh invisible, you just alter the alpha texture (that's the black-and-white one); a fully black alpha will make your alpha parts invisible. |
