Hi all

I've been wanting to buy a new pc for over a year and have read all the info here which has been very helpful thanks

I've been checking out all the different offers from companies and have decided on http://www.dinopc.com/ because they offer the custom options i want and they are local to me

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper TX3
OS: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
MB: Asus M4A77TD Pro U3S6
MEM: 8GB DDR3 1333mhz (4x 2GB)
Hard Drive: 1TB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
DVD: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4850 1GB (I already have this)
Sound: Onboard 7.1 Audio
Case: Thermaltake Element S 2x23cm
Power Supply: 650W Corsair TX Ultra-Quiet

Would just like opinions - mainly in case i've made some glaring mistake - am intending that this would allow me to play sims 3 with all exp packs as they come out and cc, hopefully will be able to play the game on high graphics settings

thanks

That looks like a good setup. The graphics card, the 4850, seems to be the weakest component, which is unsurprising since you're reusing it; but it should be perfectly capable of running TS3 without much trouble. It'll probably be the first thing you'll want to upgrade down the line.
The PSU is probably overkill, so if you're looking to save money you could afford, I think, to take that down a few notches - I'd stick with a Corsair though, they're known to be a reliable brand. TS3 won't need a processor of the power you have there; but that CPU will be good for many years to come, so I'd say it's a good investment in the long term.

I don't know enough about cooling or cases to make a judgement there, but overall those options look good to me. If you're happy with the specs and the price, I think you're onto a winner.
