I tried putting them in their own iventory put when i was decorating the client's house i drag the picture out they dont allow me to put the paintings up! and i cant get them into the family iventory either :\

juansfalcin Instructor Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 545	While in Renovation Mode, check the Family Inventory. Items from your inventory should be there.

Srikandi Pattern Pusher Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 5,397 Thanks: 11423 in 63 Posts 13 Achievements	Placing items from family inventory is a bit different than placing them from your personal inventory. Instead of dragging them, you select them by clicking them, and then you should be able to place them on the wall. And yeah, when you're in renovation mode, any item from your personal inventory that you can use in decorating should show up in the family inventory.

Destynova99 Test Subject Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 56	Apparently placing one "custom" item like a painting or sculpture gives a nice bonus to your review score too, and how much you get paid for the job. Just don't use 3000 simoleon masterpieces because those would sell for more in the consignment store than you'd get as bonus.
