I have made an account on sexysims2 (to get content for Sims 3) but I can't even log in! I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm old enough, I have my computer set to accept the site and I don't have Norton. I'm totally stuck and my WinRAR trial is coming to an end so I am trying to download everything I need/want before it goes... So technically I have two problems.

1. After making my account I cannot download anything. (takes me to a site where it says that downloading is not possible and it suggests I configure my security, etc.)

2. When I log out, I am not able to log in nor reset my password.

(I'm not sure if these problems go here, I'll willingly move it, but I didn't know where else to put it seeing that I can't post it on SS2.)

WinRAR keeps working after the trial runs out, it just nags you to buy it each time you use it.

What exactly does the error you see say? And why can't you log back in?

I am having pretty much exactly the same issue. The site tells me that my password or username is wrong etc. this is the screen I get every time

Its getting on my nerves, I just want to download something from them.
I have this account that works with sexysims2 as well as 2 other accounts because I made them to try and log in with the same problem. I even tried changing the passwords on all of them and re-loging in but still I get that same exact screen. Please somebody fix this...

I go through the SS2 password change procedure, answer all the questions correctly and it blocks me because my IP address has changed. That's possible, because my ISP changed my IP Address some time ago when they had a fault, but I presume the SS2 E Mail isn't being monitored to get it unlocked.

I had assumed SS2 wasn't being updated at all so I hadn't visited for months - hence the forgotten password - but it looks as if this IP Address check might still have blocked me. I see one recent update and would be interested to see if there's more.

If you right-click on a zip in Windows Explorer and it is set as an option, WinRAR doesn't even nag you.

What I'm having is only on sexysims2 it appears to me no cookies everytime i try to download something...

I'm having the same issue. Have no issue on MTS, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to log into SS2 and/or reset my password. I have tried using the 'reset password' option, but get the following message:
"Warning!

We couldn't reset your password automatically due to security concerns with your account. To reset your password via email click here: here"

Yet when I click the 'here' link, it brings me to MTS, and wants to reset my MTS password. I have tried logging into SS2 with my MTS password, but this doesnt work either...

I haven't been on SS2 for a while, so thought my account may have been purged, but am unable to create a new one either, as the site says my email address does have an active account. At as loss as to what to do next...

Calzona: Apologies for that. I'd left in an MTS URL when I updated the password script on SXS2 to match the one on MTS. It should be fixed now, and the link should take you to the correct page.
