I'm building a two story farmhouse, and it has a front proch that needs roofing. When I tried to put a roof over it, the windows on the second floor prevented me from adding the roof. I tried using moveobjects on, but it still didn't work. Is there any way to get a roof for my porch? |

Take out the windows temporarily, roof it, and then put them back using moveobjects. |

When I tried that, the window panes were like... replaced by the wall. |

I found it works when you do the roof first, then choose the option to see only walls |

Put up the roofs first. Then use the option of seeing only walls (roofs down...still there..just not visible) and THEN add your windows. This always works for me. Sometimes when the windows look like walls (or are replaced by the wall as you put it) all you need to do is exit the lot and re enter. They sometimes go back to normal. Do you have any pics of what you are attempting? |

Window panes replaced by walls -- this has always seemed to fix itself for me after I have saved and reloaded the lot. |

What about placing the windows twice. I tried doing that with success ones. I saw it in a tutorial actually. |
