Okay, so this is the very first time i've tried to create custom content. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to make these eyes better:

In pictures, usually the sparkle of an eye is at the top or the side or in between. Kind of 11:00 or 1:00. Yours it at the bottom. I might try for moving it.

Okay, so I moved the sparkle up to the top (thank you for the suggestion), and I think they maybe look better. Is there anything else or do they look OK?

Can we see the actual texture? I actualy think that there is a lot of work left to do on them, but I need the textures to see exactly what. Just from the pic it looks like they're kinda blurry.

I don't take requests. :-)

Yea, your textures seem kinda blurry, but they look so much worse ingame because you have your settings on low.

Here is a WONDERFUL tutorial on how to make quick and clear eye textures.

Okay so I started over and came up with these new brown eyes,, I thought they were at least a little better, the only problem I know I have is that I can't get the inner & outer corners to go that pink-ish color,

If the pink isn't showing, try bringing it in further or darkening it. Your textures aren't blurry, but on the sim, they look very blurry. Do you have your detail turned all the way up? This might also be whhy the ink isnot displaying properly.

And the color is looking a bit maxisy, which is fine, but if you are going for a realistic or semi realistic look, you need to add some more depth to they eyes, more hight lights and contrast.

As Vampy said, you should move the corner of the eye a lil' bit to make it show up. Also, add a lot more of shading in the edges of the sclera. My sclera always looks really dark brown in photoshop but fine in the sim, a too light sclera makes the eye look cartoony. It would help too to add more shadding on the top of the iris, making it almost black, in the upper 1/3 of the eye, blurring it where the third sparkle starts. A thin unfilled circle around the iris also helps for a more realistic look, being it darker at the top and lighter at the bottom. If you shade a lil' bit the sparkles at the top and add some eyelashes with the color of the shadding, and add a small light with low oppacity and crescent shape at the bottom it will look good too. Also, making the iris around the pupil darker helps to make it more realistic, and adding a different color in that zone too, green for example.

Damn! I want to create eyes again now Hope it helps and I didn't explain too bad

They look good, but I think the pupil on your blue eyes looks too small...

The eye twinkle things or whatever are looking too sharp. Try putting them on a new layer and blurring them.

Whee.

You can achieve some really interesting eye effects on artweaver(free) which is basically a drawing program and it is also very useful for blending if you ever need to make patterns or create skin from source pictures but it isn't the most user friendly program ever and does take some getting used to
