So, I've got a sim in the medical career track for the first time since installing Ambitions. Has anyone else noticed that the extra jobs you get - like working at the free clinic and that sort of stuff - pop up only when your sim is already at work? And by the time the sim has finished their shift the jobs are gone? My sim isn't at the top yet (she's level 8, I think) but so far the extras have only popped up whilst she's already working. Will they ever stop conflicting? |

Yes, this happens to my medical sim, too. I thought that was how it worked. |

I think you're allowed to leave your rabbithole to go to the special job events. I'm not completely sure though, I just ignored them when they popped up since I had 6 other sims in the household to play. |

You leave the hospital during working hours. You go to the job event. While you do it, you lose job performance. As soon as the event is finished, your performance meter fills to the top. Hurry back to the hospital - you keep losing performance as long as you are away during work hours. With a lottle luck, you can get a new promotion every day! I really like the "new" medical career. If you want to spend time with your sim, do an event. If you don't, just let them go to the rabbit hole. |

My sim is a genius and a workaholic so she's gotten a promotion almost every day so far anyway but this sounds handy for gaining raises. Thanks! | |
