just so you know, i'm making a los angeles world too so i built kim's kardashian home. i think it would be prettier then the khloe kardashian home because her house has circled walls and pretty hard to make on the sims 3. so if you want this is my kim kardashian home and its not furnished so you could design it how ever you want.   i placed her home in fernando valley on calabasas hills (in my world) but im not sure if you'll have room for this lot because its 40x40. if you want it just tell me. |

Oh wow... First of all, this looks absolutely amazing. Im really happy you decided to re-do your original version, and be such a stickler for details in this one, the old Motel, the Billboards, everything just fits so well together and looks amazing. So great job, truly! Also, I enjoy your, for a lack of a better word, philosophy, about making all lots usable, such as building the Bank Tower, rather than just putting in CC. Very nice! I was wondering however, you've shown some wonderful homes in the hills above the city, your version of the Hollywood Hills, and I wonder, do you have any contemporary / modern residences? One (of many) of my dream homes is one of those modern homes in the hills, with panoramic views over the LA basin, and floor to ceiling glass, sort of like this: http://www.1546viewsite.com/ This is what the Hollywood Hills are all about, to me at least; spectacular views combined with equally spectacular architecture. So I just got curious Also, this post is far too long, I apologise. |

Thank you so much for your comments Ok I see where you're going In the last world there were a few modern houses on the hills, while now there only are two: my reproduction of the Chemosphere, which is like '70 modern though, and then another small modern 2BD house. The Getty Center is also in a modern style. I'm not the biggest fan of modern architecture to be honest.

@ElviraD: thanks, I already used those pics from Us Weekly Magazine (I think) as reference, but since so many people are interested in that house i might as well build a new, bigger one on a flat lot... Not on my priority list st the moment though You can see my version of the Jenner House a few posts ago!@omgOrel: it does have custom weather, I took coasterboi's Los Aniegos ini files and tweaked them a bit, I changed the heat waves, the size of the sun/moon and a few more things but yes, the weather is customized. |

hi where do i need to place the inifileLA that you posted on page 16 ? do i need to replace them? or extrack them to somewhere? whatever it is what do i need to do? and another thing: please do it for me! i really have problems to download the new version... can you upload to mediafire or 4shared the "northlosangeles.world" file from: documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/installed worlds? please i really love the new vesion! please. |

can you please send me a link for download for the northlosangeles.world file because some ow when i delete the file and all of the old files of the old los angeles i download the new one and it gives me the old version again so please send me this file is in : documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/installed worlds/ send me on PM or post it here. thank you so much! |

You can just download the version that is linked in the post above yours, then use Delphy's multi installer (it's on this site but you have to search for it) to extract the file from the sims3pack, this will give you the world file but you need to change extension from .package to .world and move/copy it to Installed worlds folder. If you are using a save to load the world it will proberly use the version you had when saving the first time no matter what version you use, try to start a new game/town to see if new version is used. |

I think you need to work more with the world. I saw the bad things.... The world is so beautiful but the roads and the beach. The roads on the hills and in the beach (when to go down to the beach) aren't smooth and about the beach the sand is dark and the terrain of the beach. i think you should make a little bit of ground under the water. And do you make the luckypalms version? |

Can you be clearer? I understand what you mean by steep roads, but I'm not quite sure I got the terrain part, nor the ground underwater. I think I'm gonna leave the CC as it is now, and possibly replace the palms with LP ones after. Thanks for testing it out! |
