I have been playing Sims 3 with all available expansions (world adventures, high end loft, and the new ambitions) and I have the latest patch. My question is how do I drive somewhere with someone else? I know you can click on a building and choose to "go with someone". I do that but when they exit they go back in 2 seperate cars. How do you make it so that they ride back together? The example I have is me and my ingame wife go out to eat. We drive there together. Upon finishing the meal they take 2 seperate cars to get back home. How do you share a car? I have a set of 2 triplets and I'm at max residents (8). I think the van holds 4 people. how would I be able to take kids to the park and bring them home? The kids are still toddlers but once they get older I would want to take them out without worrying about making my poor wife walk miles home. I have tried to take out the truck i own and click and see if they go in, they don't. For the life of me I can't figure it out. can anyone please help me. My question is how do you get a passenger to ride with you? In the new ambition i know there are eco friendly people that have to ride with someone. (I did download the mod that gives the prius and the twizzy the added effect just now but that is not my main concern) I want to go on dates with my wife without taking 2 seperate cars back home. I want to be able to invite someone to my house, then ride with them to say the gym, then allow them to ride back home with me. Can someone please help me? a link or anything would be welcomed. I have been playing since release and still cant figure it out. |

I don't have that problem, but try and pause the game and hit the "Go Home" Button on all of the sims. Then when you hit play they will all be going home at the same time, so they should go together. Idk if I'm right though. |

I know what you mean, clicking 'go home' doesn't always make them go back in the same vehicle. I get this whenever a sim leaves the hospital after giving birth; even if her and hubby drove they'll almost always get a taxi back and leave their car behind, silly sims. You could always have one sim click on the ground outside their house and choose 'go here with...' then just select the whole family. |

Click on the ground at wherever you want them to get to in a car. Then they should all go there together. |

I guess it would work the same way as when you click on a location and choose 'visit with...' - because they're all going to the same place in one command they should travel together. I've not tested this myself but it's an educated guess

Exactly. You zoom to their house and click on the ground and go here with. They will all get in the car. It works. When we get group outings in latenight you probebly won't have to do this as the group will follow your sim. |
