It is my intent to upload somewhere four sims to compliment a lot that is almost done. They are the Fellowship of the Tetromino, and their whole gig is playing on the computers. That's mostly what they do on their own without having Computer Whiz, and sometimes they will paint, play guitar, play with toys, have a drink, or treat each other in friendly ways. In fact, the are becaming friends all on their own without a single command on my part.

These gentlenerds are like Snorefest 2010! I've done my best to make them nerdy and spazzy. 80% of the time they are on the computer, 10% eating, and the last 10% breaking stuff. They all share the 2 traits Good and Genius. I can easily change their traits by redoing the household from their templates. What trait changes will provide some fun autonomy without ending in them splitting the fellowship and becoming enemies?

( I don't play much, just build lots and test them. )

Brenin Lloyd ( Blinky, red ):
Good, Genius, Frugal, Neurotic, Exciteable
Lifetime Goal - World Renown Surgeon

Porceus Ishikawa ( Pinky, pink ):
Good, Genius, Mooch, Virtuoso, Childish
Lifetime Goal - Hit Movie Composer

Ishrat Narayanadri ( Inky, aqua ):
Good, Genius, Loves Outdoors, Over Emotional, Easily Impressed
Lifetime Goal - Renaissance Man

Coyote Leyati ( Clyde, orange ):
Good, Genius, Artistic, Clumsy, Handy
Lifetime Goal - Tinkerer

What traits are best to liven up a household without destroying it? Do expansions add more traits?

Edit:
Okay, let me clarify. They don't do anything interesting on their own, just play on the computer. It's their autonomy that is boring.

No help. I've played around with more traits and this is how I've observed their effect on autonomy:

Mooch and Hotheaded don't really add anything to autonomy. Innappropriate makes a sim more likely to initiate interactions that make the other sim feel they are being boring or annoying. Snob makes that sim look in the mirror every now and then. The best trait for more autonomy is Insane. It makes that sim sit on chairs, lounge chairs and toilets, relax on the bed, so if you have unused chairs and loungers gathering dust an Insane sim will put them to use on their own. They will also view plants and art, pick up and put away toys, and turn on / off lights with a double clap.
