I'm going to wait a while and see how others like it. So far, I'm not too excited about it: I've never been big on cars. But the garage clutter is making me think about getting it.

I've got it right here now, just been down to the mailbox to collect it

I'm a bit of a petrolhead so it was a must buy for me, I also have nearly all of the cars from MTS.
Now I just need to find out what mods need updating and take them out before I install.

I'm thinking of getting it after Late Night. I'm mainly interested in the F1, the new trait, and the fact that it updates the game (I don't have internet on the computer where I have The Sims 3).

got it, wouldn't run with awsome and a couple of other mods, gonna have a play around see what will and will not work!

No matter what scars you bare,
What ever uniform you wear,
You can fight like a Krogan,
Run like a lepoard,
But you'll never be better than
Commander Shepard!

i've gotten it on the release date.

i don't know about you guys.. but i didn't take any of my mods out before i ran it, and everything is working fine (besides awesome mod).

with stuff packs usually most things don't need big updates or anything. i'm dreading my custom content issues i'll have when late night comes around, though.

I've got it and I don't recommend buying it unless you're a die hard vehicle enthusiast.

The best things from this pack are the formula cars and their slick engine sounds, plus that bike is alright.
Extortion at its worst at this price though.

I got it yesterday. But ... yeah, cars arent' really something that I'm interesting in.I liked the idea, though.
I played it today and it's nice.I really liked some of the cars. But ... that's all.Nothing special (and the formula cars are so expensive ... o.O ).
I'm waiting for Late Night ^^

Well, between having fast lane and the new update to make it work, some good things actually happened in my game. The first loading screen is faster, the fast lane loading screen is faster than the ambitions loading screen was and the town loading screen is faster for all the current towns. Yeah. As far as I am concerned, it was worth the price just for that. But am also an old fast car person having done stock cars and demolition derby in the younger days. Anyone else gone over 300 mph in a stock car? We did when it was legal on oval track. Guess it comes naturally as my dad was a big race fan and airplane pilot. Now if we could only get driveable, rideable planes.

Isn't the new car enthusiast trait part of the new patch?

Got it and loving it so far. The garage objects are nice. Of course, with all the sweet rides now available, my sim decides he's going to start tooling around town on a ... scooter? Silly sim.

Yes it is, along with having relationships with your car.

i got the pack from bestbuy today, after having problems with the EA site. here are some pictures for you of the new stuff included:

Edit: New hair and clothes... (love those brown shoes...)

Conclusions:
I really like the new garage-y stuff for my Ambitions inventors, and decorating the firehouse. I'm disappointed by the very few (and very low quality) hairstyles. I wish they had added more for the 50s/rockabilly style...there are very few objects for it, and it could've been really cool. I'm not a huge car enthusiast, but I'm looking forward to giving my sims more appropriate cars for their own stories (ie. the lovely classic cars for the Goths, trucks for the Riverview folks, an old-school muscle car for Sinbad Rotter, etc)

Thanks for posting those pictures. It looks like a good stuff pack and I'm now convinced I want it!

Though, the male hair is scary. The first time I see a man walking through my town with that nonsense on his head, I will scream. WHY EA? WHY?!

Thank you for the pictures

I think it would be nice to have all the garage/retro stuff if I was to create something themed but other than the sofa and the hairstyles/some clothes I don't know if it's worth it, yet. I'll see how temped I am when I go to GAME tomorrow

TS3 aliens? Finally! - Now give us OFB businesses and proper apartments already, damnit!
