Are there enough quantities of the fruit and veg to make the different juices? Here's a guide to what you need (and the benefits): Apple Juice (3 apples) – finish homework faster. Beauty Cocktail (2 oranges, 2 cucumber) – love potion. Eggplant Juice (2 eggplants) – random skill points. Lemonade (6 lemons) – cools Sims down. Orange Juice (6 oranges) – cures colds. Orangeade (4 oranges, 2 lemons) – random badge points. Pepper Punch (2 peppers, 1 pole bean, 1 apple) – energy boost. Pureed Boot (1 boot) – freak out (Sim does random animations), no hunger satisfaction. Strawberry Lemonade (2 strawberries, 2 lemons) – platinum aspiration. Strawberry Juice (3 strawberries) – clears furious bit. Tomato juice (3 tomatoes) – warms Sims up. Vegetable cocktail (1 tomato, 1 cucumber, 1 pepper, 1 pole bean) – build skills faster. | |

You can't normally stock that many in the squeezer, as far as I know, that would be around 70 even if the processor was previously empty, and there's room for only 50 or so. Are you sure they're gone from your inventory? If so, I'd sell the squeezer and buy another one. About the fridge, you can't take fresh food back once it's been stored in it, I would check how much fresh food is left. |

When you direct your Sim to stock the juicer, you see two windows: the one on the left shows the stockable items in your Sim's inventory, the one on the right shows the items your Sim is adding to the juicer (not what is already stocked in the juicer). To see what is already stocked in the juicer, select the "remove produce" option. As Lili noted, when you stock the fridge, your produce goes in, but it only comes out in "fresh food points" applied to the foods your Sims prepare. You should be able to see the number of fresh food points you have by directing the Sim to "check food supplies." If there is no produce to remove from the juicer or fresh food points in the fridge after you stock either, then you have a game glitch. Please follow all the steps in the Game Help:Game Problemwiki FAQ, and post to Help (not Discussion) if that doesn't resolve your issue. |

It's part of the game, LilGeek. If your Sim stocks the juicer with mouthwatering produce in the right quantities, they can make those juices and get those effects. (Supposedly, you won't get the boosts if you use less than mouthwatering produce, but I haven't tested that.) |

Excellent! Usually my fruit/greens turn out "Mouthwatering", it's probably why I never noticed this feature

Incidentally, I always found this modded juicer indispensable in my game, the Maxis one is just so limited in how much it can stock - it's here at MTS - Juicers have infinite capacity |

I think a reasonable amount of produce in the juicer is about 400-500. I think I use the juicer from this thread from maty which allows 300 (because infinite could cause glitches) and shows the recipe for the different juices. It's the same one from DJS Sims When my sims have more than 300 to stock, they are usually making enough money for me to have them buy a second juicer, or I just leave some stock in their inventories. (Always have to buy a second juicer for their business lot anyway.) I also keep a list of the recipes in a spreadsheet I use for my sims. Along with that a list of the different amounts I need in the juicer so my sims don't have to restock so often for the juices they use regularly so I have them check the levels first, then make note of what is low. Very handy for keeping track of what the sims need to plant more of when a fruit's level is low frequently. Here's the breakdown I use. Apples 30 Oranges 45 Lemons 45 Strawberries 45 Tomatoes 30 Cucumbers 10 Eggplants 30 Pole Beans 30 Peppers 30 Boots 5 I always keep a close eye on the stuff needed for the Pepper Punch (pole beans, apples, and peppers) so my sims don't waste time going to bed when they could be doing useful work like expanding the garden. Others might get low for a short time. When my sims max their skills, they don't need the eggplant juice, so I make adjustments. Same with the strawberries if they have already reached perma plat. I keep the oranges high because it can be used to fill up hungry sims and keep them from getting sick. It takes much longer for them to prepare a meal and sit down to eat, even a meal that is already cooked in their inventory, then it does for them to grab juice from a tray on the counter or an end table. I use the hacks that don't allow the juice to spoil, so they can use it longer than 24 hours like the original game limit. Also hacks so the juice trays can be put on end tables and regular tables. That way my sims can put a tray in their business locations for quick drinks to increase energy. Or out in the garden so they can have a quick boost. If their hunger is nearly full, they don't get fat drinking a full glass of juice, like eggplant juice when they roll a want for gaining a non-specific skill point. My pregnant sims don't seem to get morning sickness when they drink orange juice for their meals. Oh, don't forget to get the Produce Packing Stations from Simwardrobe, especially if you want to sell produce from an OFB lot. I did my best to hunt down all the useful gardening related hacks/mods I could find because I just love all the gardening and fishing stuff, and these are among my most favorite mods. |

Actually, you can get the boosts even with the poor quality products, provided you mix them with the better stuff. Like the two eggplants cocktail won't give the sim a skill point it they were two poor quality eggplants, but you can serve 6 eggplant drinks filling the processor with mostly perfect (mouthwatering) or average, and some poor quality vegetabled too. I'm sorry, I don't know the exact ratio, but it's something like one /one for the perfect/poor combo, two/one for the average/poor combo. Even if I'm wrong about the ratios, as I tend to serve drinks (6 glasses) rather than prepare just one at a time (my sims are addicted to eggplant juice :p) I'm positive about the mixing thing. |
