Gawd! Tinkering! Every other Sim in my neighborhood loves tinkering. I hate it.

Count no Sim lucky until he is dead.

Awww, I love tinkering Sims, as well as arts & crafts. Anything that gives me an excuse to set them to work on the OFB workbenches or the sewing machine as soon as they become a teen.

If film & lit were more prevalent in my neighborhood, I would hate it because I really don't sit my Sims down to read or watch TV very often (no wonder TS3 drives me nuts), and not every enthusiast is going to be a writer. But Sports...argh. If I don't have the business career reward, I just don't know what to do with them. Except for the golf game and watching the sports channel, every sports activity wears them out too quickly.

I never get tinkering and nature because I rarely instruct sims to engage in such activities...

but I get cuisine, games and music & dance a lot. It's inevitable really, because they have to cook to survive and if I give them a computer, poker table or piano- it's all they ever flock to.

I love Arts & Crafts, a lot of my Sims like painting and most of the times do it on their own. Film and Literature, on the other hand, is not that bad. There are houses with Sims working completely different hours and when one is home alone, because it is his day off, starting writing a novel seems the best alternative to mindless TV. Sims on the sporty side have a baseball court and play with family members or friends who come to visit. They socialise and, at the same time, they gain enthusiasm in their hobby. Admitedly, they don't play for hours, but all is a good fun for as long as it lasts.

I used to have nothing but science-sims (since I favorited virgo as zodiac sign), but now there's more variety on OTH. Although many of my sims seem to have nature or tinkering.
