Is it possible to add some sort of bumpmap to an object?
I used the repository technique to slave some curtains to the maxis bedding, and although it worked, they don't have any detail anymore.
So, I was wondering if I could add some sort of bumpmap to the curtains to get a little more detail.
I have only found how to add them to clothing and walls.
Is it possible and if so, how?
Thanks in advance

Its an interesting question - but its part of how the repository technique works - you are mapping to the Maxis texture. As far as I know, you would have to map the curtains to the bits of the bedding texture that best serve the detail requirements - and that would mean editing the mesh.

I was afraid that would be the answer but I could try and ask anyway right?
I've defaulted all the beddings to solids so there's no detail left for the curtains. I guess I'll just recolor those too then.
Thanks Leesester
