I've been experiencing a problem ever since I installed Late Night; there are no interactions available. And no, I don't mean just with other sims, with my OWN sim aswell. Her name shows up, along with a human shaped icon, but nothing happens when I click it. The same goes for absolutely everyone else. All other things seem to work, haven't had any laggy elevators, it's possible to order drinks etc. and do stuff together, but most of the whole point of socializing is gone when I can't interact with anyone.

I've tried playing without CC, no change. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times. I have deleted my cache files. I have done everything "by the book" (not combinations though, as in not removing CC and THEN deleting cache, but I don't think it matters much). It still won't work. It's getting annoying as hell, but I haven't come across anyone else with this problem. Any suggestions? Any patches I'm missing? I updated straight from the first Ambitions patch to this one, as far as I know, but does that matter at all?

Oh, in case it is relevant: every time I open my sim game, I get the message that "sims3 launcher is not responding"/launcher error, can't remember the correct message. Anyways, I can just cancel out that message and the game starts up. I haven't watched the intro video since I got LN either, but I guess it's just a myth that it actually makes a difference.

This is getting incredibly frustrating, as I would love to play this game with all the new social possibilites it offers.

EDIT: I disabled the CC using the EA startup thingy, do I have to remove it all from the folder, or is that enough? I was under the impression that removed everything, not just Sims3Pack files.

Okay first, you SERIOUSLY need to follow all the steps in the help section exactly, I mean exactly as they are written. Poor kid you've wasted a lot of time and frustration. Second. ALL CC must be removed (cut and copied to your desktop) BEFORE you run any installation of an EP. c/documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/ mods/packages/, that whole Mods file needs to go to your desktop I also put my down loads there. Only then should you run the install. If you have no interactions I can practically guarantee this is because of a mod that is not compatible. Just put a few in at a time and run the game. Do not attempt to use out dated core mods (like in teen or awesomemod) you have to get the updated ones. Your going to have to add mods a bit at a time to track down the offender. There is nothing wrong with your game. It is one of the mods. Now go to the help section and follow the instructions, your game may not be crashing but it's not working either. http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...Sims_3_Crashing Go! Now! Quickly! you will be glad when it's all over.

Removing CC without deleting cache files is pointless. The game will still behave as if the CC is there until you delete the cache files.
