This seems to be a universal problem with any boot mesh that isn't slapped directly to the leg itself, I have several more intricate boot meshes that this happens to. Whenever a sim gets more muscular via exercise or if you crank the muscles up on your sim, the legs clip right through boots like these:

Several things I've tried are delphy's sliders to change leg and calve thicknesses, but believe it or not, they enlarge/shrink the boot mesh too (much like the muscle slider SHOULD do). The only solution I can think of is to use awesomemod and edit the muscles on your sim, but if your sim is already athletic, those saves won't stick! Does any sort of slider mod exist to fix this on the main sliders?

The boot meshes need to be fixed to have proper fat/fit morphs.

Thanks for the prompt reply. So if that's the only way to fix this (and other boots with the same problem), how would I got about doing that? I'm pretty good with Milkshape, but I've never used it with the Sims 3. Is there a tutorial on how to get meshes to work with fat/fit morphs?

After about an hour of reading and troubleshooting:

Not bad for a first attempt! Thanks for the help, they look great now! I usually don't like fixing other people's work, but this gave me a push in the right direction to start making my own models for the Sims 3. Anything that uses milkshape is great in my book.

With the introduction of the new sliders, you should ideally inform the creator of those CC items. Otherwise they would create yet more CC using the incorrect methods and/or have more of these borked CC (if they are in Sims3Packs format) floating around in custom Sims packaged in Sims3Packs..
