Is it possible to have different outfits for men and women for the same level? I mean like in my Modeling career there is a level named Swimsuit model. So men and women should wear a swimsuit when going to work. But men can't wear a bikini so I was wondering what I can do? And also a lot of requesters ask for different outfit for men and women. Someone said it's possible cause in some career levels (Bookie in Criminal, any higher-up position in Business, etc.) there are completely different outfits per gender... I don't know how to do that so I was wondering if someone could explain to me how I can do that (with BIDOU's Career Editor or otherwise) |

This is not a feedback thread - Moving to modding. Have you searched? Looked at the existing tutorials? There are tutorials for attaching custom clothing, cars and career rewards. Please do try to look at existing tutorials before asking for something explained that -has- already been explained. =) If you have trouble with the tutorials please be sure to list the tutorial and what step your having trouble with. Yes, I have searched for this all over the place (google, MTS). I even asked about it in the only tutorial about adding custom clothing I could find (followed your link as well to find others), but never got an answer. I know how to add custom careers, cars and rewards. I have even made careers with that (and they've been approved) and it works perfectly well. I want to know how to add different clothes for men and women and this tutorial http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=129052 (also the thread where I asked the question a few weeks ago) did not help. It's not one step I don't understand. As I mentioned above, I was already able to do what is said in the tutorial and make it work. It's just that I want to add different clothing for men and women to one level. And I asked about it in the thread (about the problem I'm having and what I don't understand how to do), but I don't get any answer. So how can I add different career clothing for men and women? And if it is explained already if you said, where can I find it? I could only find one tutorial about adding clothes and they don't talk about different clothing for men and women as mentioned above. | |

You need to have a single package with both the preferred male and female clothing in it. It should be covered in the tutorial you linked to, specifically, this part: ![]() (http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a...y2005/TTTT7.jpg) Once the clothing for men and women is stored in a single package, you just link them together with the career by entering the GUID in the usual way.

I know this already. But my question is, whether it it possible to add custom clothing to a career if you have a two single packages. One for male and one for female. Is it possible or not (that's what I can tell my requesters for certainty)? It is possible in Maxis' careers (like business) so it might be possible for custom careers as well. |

No, that's not possible, not even in Maxis careers. You can only link to one GUID, and that GUID can point to different outfits for each gender and age bracket. In the business career there's one object, which links to a blue top and miniskirt for the ladies, and a grey suit and pants for the gents. |

And to know how to link 2 different outfits for men and women to one GUID I can follow that tutorial: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=129052 Thanks for the information! |
