Kind of self explanatory. My game crashed... And I am waiting for my computer to clean out its registry... And eventually I will have to dig out some discs with some magical codes... And reinstall... And then go through my most recent mods... And think, "Which one of you guys is complex enough to cause a crash..."

All of which is boring. And I feel like avoiding it...

So when I have to reinstall after a crash I... play on the internet. And read stuff on mts out of boredom...

What do you do?

And never again, and never again...They gave us two shots to the back of the head... And we're all dead now...

Why do you have to re-install after a crash? wouldn't the first step to this issue be removing the mods folder and see what happens?

Nope, this crash fried a lot of things and made my PC go "Boom"... Not in a literal sense mind you. I moved the mods folder out, restarted my system, attempted to open the game and another "Boom". So I am taking what I can, thank god I don't trust EA and I backed up everything right before this happened, and am getting ready to reinstall... After I make sure that not a hint of corrupt data is left on my PC. And after I find all my games because I just moved and I have been avoiding unpacking for quite a while...

Lucky Mac user and your non-retarded hardware, with its no viruses and only software drama...

And never again, and never again...They gave us two shots to the back of the head... And we're all dead now...

Do what I do: keep reminding yourself of the importance of maintaining decorum at all times, and holding your focus until the end of the process.
Have to maintain decorum..

Have a look at the crash log reader next time it crashes, reinstalling is when the game is missing a file or a file is corrupted and then you use a repair on intall not an uninstall and reinstall

I go on here and read then I play Text Twist or Solitary while I wait for anything. Text Twist and Solitary are the two waiting games I play when I have to wait for anything.

I read Grimm's Fairy Tales until I dug out my discs. Re-installed. It's working fine. I think my computer just called my bluff about tossing it out a window and raised me hell. *Shakes head* Stupid PMSing technology.

SN: I found out later it wasn't letting me open any of my PC games. So I ended up re-installing some Nancy Drew stuff and Fable: Lost Chapters. Whatever, no real harm done. I just can't threaten my laptop any more... (Contemplates sending laptop in for a check up, jic)

Having a Mac has nothing to do with that. I have a PC and I've never experienced what you're going through

Music. Lots of music. Usually I'm super pissed, and music helps me calm down.
