When I play the sims 3 it will run smoothly for a little while but then it seems when I switch lots it will go to a black screen, and crash if I don't hit the start button to exit the game. I can play on the new lot for a while but if I say go up to the next level or change a sims appearance it will cut to the black screen. I do have the graphics turned up quite a bit but I think my laptop can handle it its only 2 weeks old. here is my graphics information Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100618-1621) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: HP G62 Notebook PC BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 3894MB RAM Page File: 1815MB used, 5970MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7600.16385 32bit Unicode --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Manufacturer: Intel Corporation Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics (Core i3) DAC type: Internal Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0046&SUBSYS_1425103C&REV_02 Display Memory: 1696 MB Dedicated Memory: 64 MB Shared Memory: 1632 MB I'd really appreciate any help to my problem Ill try turning my graphics down see if that helps but I'd like to know for sure if my computer can handle sims 3 with graphics turned high. |

Definitely not equipped to play TS3. Sorry. Just because it's new, doesn't mean it's ready for gaming. You also need to play close attention to temps and HP laptops tend to overheat when playing TS3. http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?tit...oard%20Graphics http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?tit...em_Requirements |
