When I play the sims 3 it will run smoothly for a little while but then it seems when I switch lots it will go to a black screen, and crash if I don't hit the start button to exit the game. I can play on the new lot for a while but if I say go up to the next level or change a sims appearance it will cut to the black screen.

I do have the graphics turned up quite a bit but I think my laptop can handle it its only 2 weeks old.
here is my graphics information

Definitely not equipped to play TS3. Sorry. Just because it's new, doesn't mean it's ready for gaming. You also need to play close attention to temps and HP laptops tend to overheat when playing TS3.
