Please correct me if I'm in the wrong thread.

I just simply want to move an accessory a bit further forward so it can appear over my sim's hair. Since I already read some tutorials, and had a few successful hair meshing, I attempted to do it myself.

Although, I came into a problem: the adjustment only works for guys.

What am I doing wrong? I'm using the same technique used in this tutorial http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=158048

I thought it would have the same effect and it did; just not for the right gender. please help me.

(Oh and here's the link to the accessory I want to edit http://blog.daum.net/_blog/ArticleC...ax_history_home)

Sorry, I have no idea what you are trying to create. Your link goes to a home page with a whole bunch of stuff on it. Either upload your package here or post a direct picture of it so we can see what you are having problems with.

Some accessories are assigned to specific genders. The Dr. Pixel tutorial you linked to is for hair and is talking about the mesh layers and the proper sequence they have to be in for the game to render them properly.

Accessories are assigned to the head, eyes, or ears, etc. If it is part of a hair mesh, there is a size difference between male and female meshes. You will have to make a mesh for each sex and age. - Young adult/adult/elder usually share the same mesh. Toddler, child and teens have their own meshes and are different sizes.

I think you need to review this Dr. Pixel accessory tutorial if all you want to do is add a bow/earring/glasses to a sim. http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=139586
You have to look at the mesh overlay XML to see which sex and age the accessory is for. This tutorial will show you what you need to look for. Good luck.

Busy mashing meshes.
