We need more information before we can help with your issue. Please post your system specs - instructions on finding them are here: Game Help:System Specswiki.

If it is not specifically asked, please provide the Quick summary only.

That info do not show the driver version and date, please follow that Quick Summary format.
That also shows that you're on Vista SP1, you should probably update Windows before we can rule out hardware drivers and Windows system.

You have done the DEP exception on OLS and Launcher executables? Or all?
Do you start the game via Launcher or the direct exe?

So, on the crashes itself:
- while in LIVE mode? or switching from CAS to Live; Live to Build; etc etc

- while saving? or when?
(I know you said random, but what is the most common action before each crash? I'm looking for patterns here to pinpoint in what area triggers it.)

- you have no mods (as in hacks), or no CC at all? Nothing installed in Launcher or SavedSims? So a totally brand new, cc-free game is still crashing?
If yes, what background processes have you got running? What Antivirus, Firewall application do you use?

- do you have EADM? Uninstall that, and test if the game crashes with EADM gone.

Here's my system specs.

I have done DEP exception for all. I can start by using the Launcher and directly exe

Now it has started Krach just when I started my house I can not even press anything or steer my family. it just closes down to desktop ...

My virus program is ESET Nod32 and the standard Windows Firewall

I have already uninstalled EADM

I have the same problem, even though my specs are fine.
I, too, already cleared my cache, backup-ed the user files, tried starting the game without mods, looked for corrupted files, but nothing works.

I can create a family, but when I let them move to a house and then click on the buy mode or build mode the game always crashes and I'm back at desktop again. In addition to that I can't open the options menu in the game. It opens for a second and then closes again.

Please create your own thread, BlueAzure. Please answer the questions, atariii.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
