Hi! I have Sims 3, Sims 3 world adventures and sims 3 ambitions. The thing is, I've installed some mods and "install helper monkey", I also installed the story progression mod. The game worked almost perfectly fine before that (there were some issues regarding traveling that didn't bother me really). Now I tried to run the game, after placing the mods folder on program files/electronic arts/sims 3 and /sims 3 ambitions, and the game just didn't load (only the launcher works fine) and it shows me that error. I tried removing all the mods, and the mod's folder from program files, deleting caches and It just keep on showing that error. Please help! I can't found my cd's so everything is better than install all over again.

What's "that error"?

Your mods are in the wrong place: Game Help:Installing Sims 3 Package Files/Old Way to New Way^wiki - please get rid of the "old way" stuff, but don't put your mods in the "new way" location yet. First we need to test to see if the crash still occurs with no CC at all.

Ok, I'll try that way and I'll edit if it works or not.
That error said something about serving iniciation failed, and that numbers.
I didn't remember the new way, hope it'll work just changing things again.

Edit: It just didn't work.

Edit2: I try to reinstall the game and I'm having trouble with the patches :l It doesn't allow me to install TS3 Ambitions because when It ask me to update the patches, It shows "Error, invalid file".
