sorry if this is the wrong place.

Has anyone else been having a problem with halfwalls when connected to normal walls? a very obvious gap between the half-wall and the normal wall. It's driving me nuts! Has anyone released a fix for this that I can't find, or am I the only one having this problem?

you must not be doing it correct, make sure you dont have the moveobjects on cheat activated. they should connect to your walls if you are placing them on the grid correctly. Also holding alt or shit or ctrl makes it so that you can place things at 1/2 the grid steps which would then leave a gap

I believe this is a shortcoming of half walls in the game. A known issue. D1n3r0 I am surprised they are working ok for you!

Half walls work fine for me. No gap or anything like that.

Try to make a L-shape with one part half-wall and the other a normal wall. Or two half walls.

^Ugh... I hate that. So ugly to look at. Half walls in this game are nothing more than a glorified fence. Fun in certain cases (handy as well) but in others... ugh.

I've tried that, but it doesn't work in some of my houses. XD

I'll try what post number one said, and I'll pray it works.

lol.

As for your problem, I don't know. My half walls are working fine. Maybe it's just your graphics settings?

I havent seen the problem but am really glad half walls are back, they fold down so neatly and stair rails don't. They make skippy fences and even though I do not have the Mansion and Stuff pack I managed to make a credible gate with a wall, a door and the brick type edgeing on top of the wall. I miss the security gates though, they looked cool. I wish we could combine the edging with the half wall. The wrought iron ones would look nice.

There is a specific half wall I miss from TS2: the one with the spindles that went to the ceiling! I know they have spindles but not full height spindles! As for the not connecting issue, I have problems with it too, especially once wallpaper is on, there is an obvious color difference with the same exact paper!
